This show and MacGyver were my favorite theme songs. Love it.
Scott Bakula was on Broadway before he was cast on this show. He was even nominated for a Tony Award, but lost to Michael Crawford. All the singing Sam did was Scott. Scott became a Sci-fi icon because of Quantum Leap. The new version of the show, season 2 premieres this fall, is actually well done and continues the story. We have yet to run into Sam, if ever, but Ben Song is doing his best with the team backing him up. One improvement with the leaping effects is that you see Ben actually moving as he's leaping, rather than the old freezing of the picture to accomplish the effect.
Always love this song, I was like Donald Bellisario’s shows, always love when Scott Bakula and the baseball player do the little mirror look thing.
I want a sequel series to this, with Sam Beckett taking Al's role to guide a new time traveller through his various missions...

Love this show. Remember the episode where he was a cop doing things james bond would do? Or the episode where he was a on a sci fi spaceship?

My favorite episode was where he leaped into a black man during the time of protests and when Martin Luther King Jr. was alive.
My second favorite had to be when he leaped in a DJ and in the little town of Peoria.
I loved this show so much.....but I hated the ending.
