This move and the sidestep spam is a real mood killer in mobile fifa
Counter this by switching straight to cb at kick off and back pedal while watching mini map makes them look like a right mug really annoying you can see it coming a mile awaybthis is the best way to counter act it thank me later when you dont conceed goals like this during champs 👍 🎉

If you give a perfect through pass before your attacker gets past the defenders then it's a goal.
It's not a glitch. A glitch is something like a player being made invisible after a player gets sent off.

It's definitely a glitch because the defenders never react to the kick taker. Glitches don't have to be visible. They could also be coding errors and this is a huge one
Just double tap the tackle button, so your AI will track the striker, then go pressure the ball while he tries to make the pass to the striker.

So easy to counter. Just control your cm or cdm before kick off and when you see your opponent is about to do it, beat him to the penalty box.

I never conceded a goal like that as I trigger the offside trap as soon as they pass it back. My pet hate is when they dribble everyone from kick-off.

Its alot easier to contain since your defenders AI aren't completely useless when they try this, compared to last year. I've defended every one of these so far this year

This works in DLS too but your pass has to be very accurate
Easily defended by triggering the offside trap right at kickoff. Seriously always trigger the offside trap on kick off, it not only prevents the over the top ball but also wakes up your defenders.

Its not a glitch !! corner this year are op just because of playstyle players with header playstyle have more sucess to win air balls and give strong headshots, actually you can def them with some good technique by pushing your gk and if he goes for a short pass than lob just dont give him space.
I've been complaining about it at the beginning but now I am conceiving almost no goals from corner and scoring more depending on my opponent
