Old rusty farm hoard out in the country, soft snowy skies, train horn in the distance, what's not to love! Fascinating and dreamy!
"What was the plan?"
To hoard, conscious or not.
I love those 30's -40's cars!
I was born in the 40's. These cars were still on the road, the whole time,I was growing up.
The Gen-Two Firebird and the Ford Unibody should be put in the shed. Signed-Richard.
I was born in ,1946 and I love 💕 old ford's and old cars of any kind.
Most of the vehicles here are rebuildable just takes money and time and hard work.
Brother you almost remind me of that teacher on Ferris Bueller's Day Off, the one that was teaching science I think with the glasses. He said Ferris over n over when he was taking roll lol,
Lots of El Caminos. A few front clips. Lots of “stuff” laying all around! Look forward to what you bought. Always exciting.
I've always wanted to take one of them little Mazda or Toyota trucks and jack it up, put little mud tires on it. It be my own life size hot wheel! Hell yeah
I just want to say that I enjoyed you talking through the video it made it much more interesting to me more so than when there is just plain silence, Thank You!
Look at that nice air compressor & tank.
Damn, I've never seen so many El Caminos in one place.
Iiked that 64 el Camino with the shell potential all there but money to get her running. Good video bud
Show a video of that car mover and for sure it has short forks on it . If the auction house doesn’t care about the dents , he sure doesn’t care, some of the door mirrors are popped off too , just a typical salvage yard scrap metal mover . Those who arrive at his auctions aren’t surprised by it by now .
Thanks for this video, been in the hospital for weeks ,so glad I found your videos. God bless you and your family. And America 🇺🇸. Make mine Dodge. MUCH love from Rhode Island 🦞
that 5 window is worth grabbing
The Continental Mark III is actually a 1969 because the windshield wipers are exposed. If the Mark III has high back front seats then it is a 1971 (although some 1971 models also had headrests). The Ford Courier is based on that Mazda pickup.
Next to the pinball machines, 1950's or 60's Snap On tool chest. Now a collectors item.
Great video!
On that 2nd generation Camaro, pretty much sure that it is a Z/28.
All of the chrome trim around the front & rear windshields are painted flat black, plus the headlight surrounds are black over the chrome too. The fender gills are a giveaway too, so I'm pretty sure that you called that one correct. 😉 Good job! 👍
Terrific video!!! The Relics of the auction remind me of the past and about the people I knew that drove the same kinds of vehicles. Great work as always.
I agree!
Ooooooooooooooooo[oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo[oooooo[[o[ooo
You should come to AZ few racoons no snow or rust Not very many farm auctions unfortunately. There's a few auctions and a few old 4 doors in Sun City
41:53 center of the screen, the dual snorkel air cleaner. Mopar? GM? Thank you for taking us on this trip. I have got to thin out my collection a bit! Nothing compared to this but still.
Man oh man! Elco heaven my gosh!!
I'm from Homestead FL. This video remind me of this old junkyard with lots of great stuff 😃Awesome video I love old stuff like that
I want that forklift!
He might have a B52 in the forest lmao. Shame they busted up the cars getting them out. But sure he got the stuff to fix other people's projects. Thanks for video. Always intresting. Have a good day.
The Unibody Ford pickup is cool, and the colors are great. Least demolished of them all, and likely the best prospect for resurrection of the lot...
Thanks for posting
Thanks for stopping by the channel!
Man that place had all kinds of valuable stuff here & there
77 trans am!!! Beautifull! Good project!! ❤️
Yes, but you had better keep it in the garage with those T-tops! They leaked even when they were a few years old. They seem like a cool idea, until you get tired of sitting down on a wet seat.
I could spend a month going through that building and salvaging everything, Clean it up and start reselling it I’m one of those people that will take one of those TVs and clean it up and sell it lol. But that’s a classic case of extreme hoarding, a guy that had quite a bit of money and had some serious emotional issues and he just kept buying and buying trying to fill that hole.
We think alike John!
Look at all the junk ! the dude sure liked gathering up Chevrolets
Depressing, confusing & fascinating at the same time, you just can't make this stuff up, thanks for the tour!
Love the 72 chevelle had one
"Haste makes waist" The outfit that handled the preparation work for the auction should have taken more time moving the vehicles. I don't know, maybe it doesn't matter, but why not be a little more careful.
I'm sure some of them sustained a little damaged getting staged for the auction but most likely the majority of the vehicles were like that when the auction company 1st saw them. That could be part of the reason some of them wound up here....just a guess.
So true… it’s not hard to put on longer forks…. Very unprofessional and sloppy…
CAUSE THEY DONT GIVE A SHIT
forklift driver needs some learnin'....no respect. not cool
That Impala and caprice were nice. If I knew how to work on 'em, I'd take 'em. Love those old square body trucks. My dad had a couple when I was growing up. It's too bad those sheds caved in like that..
Big block under the shelf! LoL.
Thank you for what you do.
I appreciate your kind words, and for you taking time to stop by the channel!
From that's a "good little wall hanger", to this. ;-)
One problem with hording is the inevitable waste of time and effort for very little value (especially when the mover destroys it).
Hm, "what was the plan", now, "what is the plan"?
I WOULD BUY THAT CORVAIR, I LOVED THEM .
Nothing like the sweet golden goodness in all the old stuff
save that 35 ford and crush the resy
After asking what the plan was its obvious there was no plan
So funny you were swinging in that monkey wards swing while I was working at Ward's ! One of my first jobs . Tried paintball too only I was mid thirties at the time ! Much fun was had from the sights of my tipman 98 ! Great video !👍👍👍
I wondered the same thing walking through junkyards just like that.👍❤🇺🇸
👍 very cool cars! Hi!
Steve
Thank you for stopping by the channel!
Thanks enjoyed the video and I always hope to see a1969GTO You really don’t see much of older Pontiacs in the junkyards except for fire birds
the crew cab is the way to go
Amazing the way the values have climbed on old crew cabs. They used to be just old work trucks
Could play with all the kool cars..I'd clean the place up.
Water wagon made in Armilla Texas 1955 weighs 20 lbs can put a small gas engine on it
Awesome video,, thanks for doing this it wasn't long enough. Love the pre war fords, that 35 was so sweet, and that 40 Tudor standard awesome catch on the mr goodpilers! Do you have any of the bids going off?
I live in Arizona, but I've spent a fair amount of time in the rural Midwest, specifically Nebraska. I have noticed that, the farther you get from places where stuff is manufactured [cities], the more value people place on used manufactured goods. How many hoarders of "stuff" have you come across? People who fill up all the outbuildings with everything from '49 Chevy pickups to non-working aluminum pressure cookers missing the gasket?
Definitely wasn't a squirrel skull in the Lincoln. Raccoon is my guess.
Lots of interesting stuff.
The pinball machines were neat
thanks
That guy was sure into ‘64 & ‘65 El Caminos….
Plymouth minivan with stick shift is a perfect candidate for electric conversion.
65-66 dig dish in the run down building. Looked nice
This. Is it the first one I seen ever with a cap didn't know they made them for Elcaminos
Mr. Good pliers did you notice the white Mazda pickup head air condition you could tell cuz it had the vent under the dash with little two little knobs that was for the factory air condition for those and the Ford Courier's they look the same.
Yes, any options and accessories add to the appeal of antique vehicles for those who are resurrecting them.
Whoever moved those vehicles and caused all that damage should be kicked in the balls. Just painful to see all that
So many crushed sides - they probably destroyed a couple of thousand dollars value, easy.
I wonder what that orange tractor looking engine was in one of the buildings near the end.
Hindsight's always 20/20
Interesting cars, even though the condition is pretty compromised. Most anything in Kansas can be restored if someone wants to put in the work. They don't rust into two pieces like East Coast junk does.
The truck at 33:22 looks familiar… It gets a facelift next month
@ 43:57 - Exactly. What was the plan for hoarding all that crap? Especially if it's absolute junk. I've walked through yards where there were piles of just scrap metal. Take it to a scrapyard and get money for it and clean the place up a bit.
You were high! And thats just a little bit of allright......
I’m from Lawrence. Sure wish I knew of this auction
i had that same 70 el meano...same color same vinyl top
Bronco II is kinda cool but boy were they tippy feeling at times
Just what you want too see at a car auction ,collector Caravans and all the vehicles exposed to the elements with windows open ,hoods open for decades ! Basically a scrap auction !!
5:29.....if thats a Plymouth Grand Voyager...I WANT it!!!
Just save it all !
I hate raccoons too, and they dislike a thing called Fly Bait, or so I've heard :)
I’m looking for an El Camino in Need of some loving.
I agree,what was the plan ?
I think his plan was just to accumulate stuff.
there's an auction that should bring the owner 800.00 or so !
By the way good video any ways thanks for the veiwing
Saw a chrome dual snorkel air cleaner 64 65 chevelle 327 /300 horse at 41:50 to 42:00 minute mark . Pretty cool. Did you buy it?
How much for the 70 elcamino?
Looks like the tonnage on scrap went up with the number of cars crushed into scrap ,,U thinx ??
Love that 46 Chevrolet, But I just seen this is an old post. I wish they would not allow old Post like this because we cannot learn anything about them and not allowed to see before the Sale.
The reality is, anything you see on video has already happened - think of any TV show, movie - all were filmed a year or two before the release date
hurts my heart
coulda bought a 65 Elco.....got a 69 instead......friends had Elcos too 65 ,70s then got Novas so there were our nova group too. I had both at one time .Then I got the 76 Stepside Chevy that 41 Mercury was ugly But more rare than the 41 Fords. nice rod material. I like how the guy loved Elcos.....so many in one place. and some are worth 10-20k in good cond.
Not a Vista cruiser Elroy...
Keep up the good work...
WRONG... ITS DEFINITELY A 76/77 VISTA CRUISER...... I WAS THERE AND BID ON IT.....
What the heck, does it snow in Kansas in June now?
ARE YOU IN WICHITA. KANSAS? I USED TO LIVE ON MACACRHUR ROAD.
moved with logging equipment ?
spotted a couple older kansas tags....is that where the auction was?
Yes, just south of Wichita
How many yrs does it take to accumulate that much stuff and how big of hole to dig to get rid of what no one wants😩
There;s definitely a metaphor here for Western Civilization! ;]
one can open a un locked vent window and reach in and unlock the door or the ole coat hanger trick
Unfortunately these cars have crank operated vent windows. In my experience, GM door latches refuse to open due to rust. Realistically, removing the windshield, climbing in, removing the door panel, and lubing/working the latch parts from inside the door has proven to be my best means of getting the doors opening and closing again.
So....what happened here? Someone picked up these rigs with a reach lift and let them slide back on the forks, thusly denting the sides ?
Only thing I saw worth anything was those old Mercs and Ford's. The rest of it was crap.
how long ago did you film this? no snow!! lol
It was in April. I had tons of edits stacked up LOL
bent frames ?
True..you can't take it with you.
__Interessante os itens...
Where is this, that on the 28th of June, its still snowing?
This was actually filmed in April
