      At 59 I am grateful I was able to watch my 4 kids enter adulthood, see my oldest grandson turn 12. I was here to watch my 2 youngest two grandsons come into the world. I know how much you all the starters will be OK, but I am so worried about my youngest son, who is only 24 years old, but he will be Okay.
      I can’t imagine being in my 20’s and 30’s, as is the typical age of onset for TNBC. Having young children, and wishing more than anything, you will be around to watch them grow up must be so terrifying to young mothers who are recently diagnosed with any type of breast cancer, but particularly TNBC. Unfortunately, mine is metastatic stage IV, and I received the diagnosis that I was terminal the day after my oldest son unexpectedly passed away. I am fighting for time now so my children won’t have to deal with losing their brother and mother in the same year.

      If you have a personal relationship with Jesus all you have to do is receive your healing by faith. Take your healing and claim it in Jesus name. He died on the cross for your illnesses and sins. By his stripes you were healed. If you believe that you are healed ❤️

      Bless you. I was diagnosed a month ago stage 3 bc. I'm mid 40 and it still feels like a loss after having surgery. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, and to deal with something like that at your age is just incredibly unfair that it angers me. Nobody deserves this. Just remember.... You are an incredibly strong woman. I think if people even just hear the diagnosis never mind starting or going through any treatment, then they can do anything in life. Huge hugs. Never miss any opportunities in life to do the things you love, travel, laugh and spend time with loved ones and good friends. I lost my mum to cancer. My biggest regret was working so hard 24/7 through life upto the birth of our little boy whom is a miracle. I think this has taught me it's not about how "short life is, but also quality of life is everything." Huge hugs, look forward, do everything you love with no regrets. Much respect xx

      Then, I moved to a new country last year and decided to hustle less. Tho, I'm too used to that kind of lifestyle so I was planning on making myself very busy again.

    I clicked because of Katie Curic. but I can tell you everyone you know didn't get everything out of life. My mom has cancer after being cancer free for 10 years. it came back and its metastasized. Being a medical worker, she knows many people who have died horribly of this disease, she is aware of the times to come. As a primary caretaker I am fully aware of what is coming but all I can do is go out for drinks and deny reality. People with this disease suffer in most dreadful ways thinkable before they pass away. It is up to all of us primary caretakers to get together and finally pass a legislation to help with this situation.

    I have Stage IV BC and it spread to my bones. I am told that the bones is better situation than soft tissue organs. So...I am taking anti-estrogen pills to starve off the bad cells. It is working. I started 8 months ago. The lump is soft now, the lymph nodes shrunk back to normal size, the CT PET Scan shows the bones healing from a shot I get to keep bones strong. I did not get surgery or chemotherapy. I am completely baffled at this point. Others say, "I'm cured," but my doctor says it is called remission, never a cure. Other people get remission, but IDK when I will achieve that status. I am just living my life and trying to stay positive. I have a husband and 3 kids (23, 18, 16). I am asking the Lord for 10 years so I can see my children married. I love them and my husband. Is anyone here going through this? I feel like there is more to do, but my doctor said to not beat up my body with Chemo because it doesn't make much of a difference with the type that I have.

    • @kac4klhc977
      @kac4klhc977 Před 9 měsíci +4

      I am a nurse with metastatic stage 4 triple negative breast cancer. It is disheartening that your husband said to not do chemo because he feels it won’t make a difference. Perhaps may I suggest you listen to your oncologist when it comes to cancer and medical issues? To say it doesn’t matter is a cruel thing to say imo. It DOES matter. You could potentially add years to your life with intervention. Even if your cancer is very advanced and chemo or immunotherapy doesn’t extend your life, the therapies could help you to be much more comfortable. For example, the cancer in the lymph nodes in my neck are large and painful, but with oral chemo my tumors have shrunk significantly.
      This treatment has potentially given me much more time to see my last 2 grandsons born! So it DOES matter!
      Please get with a support group in your area made up of women going through what you are, they can be tremendously supportive and help you feel that you’re NOT alone in your battle. Remember , I think it’s around 170,000 women are diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 breast cancer every year.
      There are so many support groups out there I’m sure you would find one that’s perfect for you.
      Almost monthly science is Discovering new medicines or things we didn’t know bf about breast cancer, we live in a very hopeful time!
      Please don’t read any medical articles more than a few years old, they simply don’t apply to the new treatments available today. Hang in there girlfriend, there are women out there just waiting to help you, but you need to get dressed, put your lipstick on, put a smile of hopefulness and the attitude your gonna kick some cancer ass today, go forward and charge! Take command of your life. Best wishes!

      @kac4klhc977 Thank you for replying! I don't have a support system, only family. I am a private person. It was not my husband, though, it is my oncologist. My doctor says no chemotherapy. It is estrogen positive receptors, so I take antiestrogen pills.

      I was in remission for breast cancer stage 3 after double mastectomy, chemo, and radiation. 6 months today, the cancer has spread to my bones (stage 4). Starting radiation and estrogen suppressants meds as well as a bone drip tomorrow. I’m ok. My faith still remains unshaken through Christ.

    You cannot beat stage 4 cancer its an incurable disease the doctors can only prolong life expectancy and manage the disease but stage 4 metastatic breast cancer has no cure it is the sad reality of this disease... Im praying for strength to fight this disease for everyone who is fighting and reading this comment... I have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer done with 4th cycle chemo

    I thought stage 4 breast cancer wasn’t curable?

    • @ausk8r
      @ausk8r Před 2 měsíci

      It's not. You can reach NEAD or NED (no evidence of disease) and sometimes you get to go off meds (though not everyone feels safe enough to) until progression hits, but not truly curable.

      It’s usually not helpful to tell a woman with stage 4 cancer about “your friend” who beat stage 3 cancer.
      Stage 4 cannot be cured, it can be managed. To imply your friend with a totally different stage and very likely totally different type of breast cancer survived is like saying “you can too if you fight like her”. I am sure you meant no harm, but as a stage 4 patient, most of us don’t want to hear about other ppl we don’t know, with a cancer unlike ours (no 2 cancers are alike, and the treatment and prognosis are totally different). Just an opinion that it’s not helpful to hear to most women already fighting for their lives.
      But I’m so glad to hear your friend is in remission, some are just not as fortunate.
