Love that interaction between Yordan and Bassitt in the game last night. You know when Bassitt patted Yordan on the chest he said something like "Man, take it easy on my big guy!", and Yordan just laughed and patted him on the shoulder. Love this game!
Blue jays scored only 2 runs in 3games and somehow still managed to win a game

Singleton at least making more contact than Abreu, but we have a serious problem at 1B that we need to take care of
I can't believe that Singleton is an Astro (another bad Bagwell 1B decision). Why isn't Loperfido playing 1B in Sugarland and Cabbage at DH is beyond me?
Loperfido (25yo in a month) must be our 1B of the future...He needs time at 1B and bring his career 29% SO rate down.
I just don't see Cabbage (27yo in a month...at this late stage of his career) lowering his outrageous SO rate of 36.2% and 10 SO in 16AB (62.5%) so far this season.
Playing Cabbage over Loperfido at 1B is just another bad Bagwell 1B decision...Just like not resigning Yuli...Abreu's stats were lower than Yuli's last season and this year he is batting .125 so far, but his big salary would have been looking good to extend Bregman or Tucker or Valdez.
Luhnow would have made the right moves...I sure do miss him for the Astros.

Why does Singleton swing for the fences every single time? Thats his downfall. Just make contact for God sake and the pop ups and fly outs will go down. Also Espada should have him batting 8th anyway. I know Dubi came up empty tonight, but he should be batting 6 or 7. He's earned not being 8th, but Espada is maybe one click from being Baker. Now imagine the games we would have won with Yainer last year. What a huge difference it makes having a catcher as a legit hitter too. It's like adding 2 hitters.
I mean he's not really in a form to be base running lmao. But you're not wrong, would be nice to just get ON base
I like Dubon in the 9 hole. It's like having another leadoff hitter to turn the lineup over.
