Mimoco was treated to a very special performance by The Boss & The E Street Band at Austin City Limits' intimate Moddy Theatre. As the keynote speaker for SXSW Music 2012, Springsteen's show was highly anticipated and tix were distributed through a lottery system. Luckily, Mimoco won admission to a show that proved to be part concert, part folk protest rally, part baptist revival... or should we say, folk revival.
As the 2 hr. + show unfolded, original members of the E Street band were joined by special guests like Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, The Arcade Fire, and Jimmy Cliff, featured here. Jimmy looked and sounded great and his energy cleared rubbed off on The Boss.
Refresh your memory, enjoy a little Bruce & Jimmy Cliff! - Zábava

great video, great energy!
👏👏👏
Plus Jimmy's playful moves really seemed to entertain The Boss. It was all pretty great to watch
Raaasstalive..ONELOVE2mycuzjimmy..
@SwingRiots It wasn't intensity, it's hard to match Bruce's level of intensity, it was in his shoulders, his strum. Playing with this reggae legend for a brief moment allowed him to go to a different place.
Woyy, ESB can really play the bubblin' one drop! Mighty Max gets real kinda nice.
Thank you for posting this marvelous video (and I second IGotARight's comment)!
The boss is like a kid in a sweet shop
Ese chaval de la Telecaster que está al lado de Jimmy parece bueno. Seguro que triunfará.
GREAT✌ THANK Y♡u✌
"His energy clearly rubbed off on The Boss"? But they're both always so energetic...
Did they play Trapped after this?
First
Love Jimmy, but not his best performance of the song. Band sounds good though. But I think Jimmy is finally getting "My share of what's mine." For many years no one seemed to know who he was.
The man was pushing 70 yrs old here. I don't expect to see anyone at their best at that age.
This song is so actual, I see the lies everywhere, The ugly plans of world Economic Forum right in your face, let them come, so they fall hard.....freeeeedom! 😃👍
💥💥💫💫😻😻🥳🥳 SHOW MEN JIMMY CLIF E BRUCE ❤️💜💛✌️✌️👍👍
GREAT✌ THANK Y♡u✌
