Dude.😃 The “I know a guy” thing at the end from Falcon was talking about Scott - exactly what Luis was telling Scott at the end of Ant Man. Falcon didn’t wanna tell Cap about getting his butt kicked by some tiny man, but surmised Scott was a good guy (he kept apologizing for hitting him😂) & they could use him. So he puts the word out (crazy, stupid fine woman who gets it to Luis) he’s looking for a man who can shrink. “I know a guy”😉
When Luis is whistling to keep a "low profile", he's whistling "It's a Small World", nice little easter egg.

Paul Rudd is such a fun actor to watch, always gives his best in everything he's in! Ant-man was certainly a surprising film in the MCU, but a good kind of surprise 🙂 I loved every minute of it!

when i watched ant-man for the first time i had zero clue about the movie and him. i didn't expect much tbh. in the end it turned about to be one of my fav mcu films and one of my fav avengers! it's so funny and the way they fleshed out the suit's powers instead of 'tiny man' like i thought it would be left room for so much creativity - love the small fight scenes! and luis' stories i loved so much and made me laugh. i was so happy i could take a break from all the heavy and deep films and stories when i was making my way through the mcu. can't wait for you to react to scott in the other films!

I was so hyped when this movie came out cause the MCU managed to get underrated titles like Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant Man and make them mainstream... And I mean, it's Paul Rudd! I haven't met anyone that doesn't like him yet, and it made me so happy to see him getting into the Avengers universe

Each film in Phase 2 featured some character losing an arm in some way, which was a nod to the original Star Wars trilogy.
When Luis knocks out "the boss" with a fantastic punch in the third act, that was foreshadowed at the start of the movie when its mentioned he's "still the only one" to knock out that giant guy in the prison

Loooovvveeee Paul Rudd as Antman!!! His movies have a different tone than the other characters, which I like the change up. And the cgi, so good. And sooooo funny. And the de-aging technology is really mind blowing!

9:37 Garrett Morris played Ant-Man in a sketch on _Saturday Night Live_ waaaay back in 1979. You can find it ("Superhero Party") pretty easily on CZcams.
Pym Particles can't possibly work the way Pym describes them; you can't "go subatomic" just by shrinking the spaces between atoms. Pym's either "dumbing it down" for Scott, or just protecting his work with a cloud of bullshit. (I also suspect Pym was controlling the suit's properties remotely when Scott first uses it, because his weight/mass fluctuates wildly throughout that first adventure.)

Yessss so glad you’ve gotten to this point! I mean I’ll say that with every MCU movie from here but this one’s the underrated underdog. Scott is such a great character throughout. The two end scenes were about the same thing. Falcon is looking for Ant-Man at the end to recruit him to help him and Cap.
This movie is so enjoyable and Paul Rudd is fantastic. The options with the concept of everything normal sized being huge are just begging for this to be a comedy, it makes so much sense. I can´t wait for Civil War, it is a big one for the MCU and for me personally. Great reaction as always Seb. I also didn´t know the post credit scene was practicly a snippet from the next movie, it feels a bit wierd. But we are done with Phase 2, it gets just more insane from this. :D
The lip synching scenes make this movie a work of art.

It's a great movie, full of humour, which makes for a nice change, sandwiched between the seriousness of Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War, and, for me, it's probably one of the most flat-out enjoyable movies in the series. Don't be fooled, though; while it may seem like a rather slight entry in the canon, some of the concepts first introduced here will go on to be incredibly important through Phase 3 and beyond.

This movie turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I had no idea what to expect. I just knew that I liked Paul Rudd, and that he was good at comedy. I was curious to know how they were going to make him into a hero.
I absolutely LOVE watching this movie with my friends, it's just a great laugh! By far my favourite moment way the lip sync story telling part, hilarious every time ❤😂

"Surely they can just go and find his wife now!" I hear that thought from so many people...no one seems to consider that when in that sub-atomic state, a centimetre would comparatively be a far longer distance then the diameter of the Solar system. And she got 'lost' on a speeding missile.
I was not expecting to like this movie as much as i did. Underrated for sure

in the comics, hank pym and he's wife were actually the original ant man and the wasp. scott and hope was only introduced years later.

Fun fact: There is a kind/specie of ant in real life that can indeed "make constructions" and "build rafts" out of themselves (21:00) , yet somehow the real ants look more CGI in the real world than the actual CGI ants in this this scene in the movie lol.

People don’t say this often, but I think this is my favorite Marvel movie. The jokes all land, the story is great, and I have a really personal connection to Scott and Cassie’s relationship (I didn’t get to see my dad often as a kid because he wasn’t able to pay child support either) and the villain is pretty good!! Cross reminds me of the og himself, Obadiah Stane, and I love it!!

The only thing that bothers me about this concept is the inconsistency of mass ratios. Sometime a shrunken object retains its original mass, sometimes it seems reduced to almost nil, and other times it seems to be partial, niether appropriate to the original size, nor to the minuscule. That's the only thing that really breaks the immersion for me.

Probably the most surprising movie. I expected it to be silly and over the top (ant-man, really? tiny guy fighting?), but it's one of my favorite MCU movies. It was original, well acted, really funny and well paced. I was very pleasantly surprised when I watched it.

have you ever watched Drunk History? the part where he's telling Scott about the job and everyone was lip syncing.. Drunk History is pretty much the same. I don't think you could get away with posting that on here but in your free time.. definitely recommend :)
