I've got a feeling that whoever picked those boards and produced this video, hasn't spent a single minute on an electric skateboard.
Very exciting riding experience technology. These will sale, but the price needs to come down, which I think over time it will. Great riding experience!
I like the way they use other peoples garden beds as berms and fully trash them, or was that just for the video.

Hi guys, in 2019 there will be new cool electric skateboard, maybe even 2 models at once, from a EV4 company. I just started to work here and the first thing I have done I asked my boss if we can implement the ideas from previous electric vehicles, you can check www.ev4.pl, in a electric skateboard and he just started to gather info about electric boards of all kind. He used my experiance from the streets, becouse I ride skateboards for at least 20 years now and from 2 years I ride electrics, and started to draw. I think that at the end of January I will be able to show it to bigger audiance, so please stay tuned. It will be quite a ride ;)

This is a great video but after I saw e-boarders intentionally turfing landscaping and flower beds through parks, etc. it turned into a thumbs down! I'm yet to find anyone outside this video that has been disrespectful for the sport. I still don't know the reason for showing that. That said, I do like the Tesla board.

The VMax.... I'm trying to convert my BMW Street Carver to do that. It would be off road capable and it already can get over speed bumps, which is already an improvement to the original design.
I got the bamboo gtx and the mobo 1600 watt. both great boards. i run the mobo with 50V Lipo instead of 36V leadacid bat. Way more powerfull and goes almost everywhere. i use it everday to walk my dog

Mo-bo has the best offroad boards (meaning really offroad) They have been here for more than 7 years, a German company. otherwise trampa is top...

No I don't. I have been wanting one for a year and half and have been researching and watching everything there is. There are like 10 companies making these offroad boards with huge pneumatic wheels and they all look and mostly are the same (except for the motors). Mo-bo has been here for more than 7 years, they have the biggest range of boards and are the biggest out of the bunch. They have the 4000w 2WD offroad board that goes 45 km/h. These boards are also awesome cause you can fit any battery in. 40ah+ If you want and you can go across the country with it. Also they offer 4 different kinds of pneumatic tires. And about Trampa, there is not much discussion here, they have the best quality components, widest range of upgrades, offroad/on road wheels of the best quality. And the torque and speed are above anything normal out there... Trampa gets expensive though, not many people have 2500 + euros to spend on a board. If I wanted the kind of offroad board you show mainly in your video, I would definitely go for the Mo-bo board. For the ultimate ride Trampa (or If you are rich and don't care, go for Bajaboard) and for on road skateboarding with hub motors, definitely The Raptor by Enertion. Don't have much money? Best cheap boards are Koowheel 2 and Backfire 2 (new backfire offroad is on indie gogo and it is the first board to have HUB offroad wheels) There are many, many boards of course but these are really on the top.

I just made mine recently and im so much happier with the outcome it's a great way to learn about what goes into them as well as gives you a tad bit of programming experience with the vesc in total I paid $700 and my board goes well over 30 which is scary fast and has a range over 15 miles. If you're serious of making one you can use the kit builder tool at mboards.com that's what I did. It gives you many different options for each and every part that will go into the board and it makes sure everything is compatible. Building a board is a great experience that gives you a much better feeling when you hop on it for the first time.

Hi there. Not sure what constitutes to the pricing of each model, but seeing the numbers of sold Boosted Boards (which are rather expensive) I don't think these off road boards will be selling badly. Did you like any disregarding the price?

@@MustSeeTech Top speed of the Evolve model in your video is 23mph. Range is 18.5 miles (not "miles per hour"; "MPH" is a speed, not a distance). The graphics in your video incorrectly list the range in "MPH". That is to what Jonathon was referring.
