Yeah I have some ideas for building a small travel van for vacationing within a state or two distance but first I want to get my house situation settled. It’s nice having that security of a roof that’s always gonna be in one place and set the way you need.

Ha ha, I really enjoyed this. The threats of living in a house; unexpected knocks at the door, noises on the back patio and shadows on the bathroom blinds! Actually a tiny house sounds like something to aim for. You could fit it with things that are too big for the van, like a bath, a log burner and go there for the cooler months. I bet Millie would appreciate it too. 🐕🦺

Easily one of your best videos yet!! The angles, lighting, setting, story- it all just hits perfectly. Love the blend of vlog, meets joy, meets horror without any of them needing to dominate the direction of the video. Really genius. Makes me think filming, music and video games could benefit from a better balance of emotion. Sprinkle some genuine joy in the horror, slide some stress into the bliss and I think everything will start to have more interest.
Edit: Also I've been saying for a year that you make good vanlife videos but always felt like a homebody to me. One of these days you're gonna have to get yourself a place to call home and stop living on the road 24/7. I don't feel that way about all van lifers but you specifically enjoy romance, gaming, cozy stability- all sorts of things that are tied to a place that can be your headquarters. Idk don't listen to me though what the hell do I know. I just want you to be happy and successful bro! This has been VeganKoopa-see you next time!

This evening was the first time I have run across your channel. I am a full time RV dweller (small class C), currently enjoying a long term housesit in the Bay area, thought your video would be fun to watch as I sunk into the giant bathtub! Today, I made a beautiful mushroom and arugula quiche in the luxury of a huge kitchen. Also, I used to live in the North End of Boise, which is where I think you are. I am looking forward to following a channel that belongs to someone I apparently have quite a bit in common with.

Having a place where it's ok to be there has been the biggest thing for me my first year on the road. I found the boondocking spot in the S Dakota Badlands. Been here for weeks and oh man! I just love that I haven't had to drive anywhere for weeks. I did get to cabin sit in Washington for a few weeks and that was cool but I still slept in my van :D Love the video!!! You're so good at the scary!!!
This was great, loved how you were getting all paranoid in the house life LOL. Liked the video. It must have felt nice to have some elbow room. I moved out of my apartment in Portland Oregon in June of this year and have been living in my travel trailer since. In a weird situation where I would probably like to get another apartment, but Portland has a really bad crime and homelessness problem right now. In fact the main reason I moved out of my apartment is because criminals and drug addict weirdos kept knocking on my door in the middle of the night, probably hoping I'd open the door so they could bust inside and steal my stuff and/or hurt me... it just didn't feel safe. Thinking about moving to the suburbs, but then whenever I commute to Portland it'll be 30+ minutes of stop and go traffic. The biggest sticking point for me between the van/trailer life vs. apartment/house life is plumbing... aka showers and toilet. It's the spoiled city slicker side of me but over the past 4 years of owning this travel trailer I've never once used the water or waste tanks. The idea of having a tank right underneath where I eat and sleep full of my waste sounds like a path to health problems. Maybe I'm wrong and the tanks are sealed off well enough where it wouldn't be an issue, but even knowing that a bunch of my waste is right underneath me in a tank and that I'd eventually have to dump it and clean it out... it sounds awful. So basically I either use the facilities at whatever campground I'm staying at if they have them, or I drive to the nearest coffee shop or McDonald's or something to use their bathroom. My first (really) big trip with the trailer in 2018/2019 I went from Oregon to New York to the Florida Keys and back to Oregon, visited 45 states and used dispersed camping sites/truck stops the whole way (literally don't think I ever spent money on a RV park or anything once that whole trip). It was great except for the curse of having to go #2... sometimes I'd be staying in the middle of nowhere and would have to drive 40 minutes to the nearest McDonald's to use the bathroom, but that's often where I would go for internet so I could get work done anyway so it made sense. Now I have Starlink internet so going to coffee shops or McDonald's to work is no longer necessary which is a blessing since it feels kinda awkward sitting in a McDonald's for 6 hours to work. Honestly I really could live happily in this trailer if I could take long hot showers and it was somehow connected to sewer instead of just some tanks underneath the trailer. The older I get the less easy it becomes to run out to fast food places or use the facilities at a campground... plus other campers probably realize that I'm not using my tanks by my walks of shame to the bathroom every morning. Staying at an RV park on the coast right now and every morning (twice per morning, actually) I make the walk to their bathroom and back to my trailer and have to walk past a bunch of other trailers and several eyes are on me, probably saying to themselves "there he goes to take a dump again." It's embarrassing. My trailer actually does have a toilet and a small shower inside... so I'm thinking to myself do I suck it up and finally start using the water and waste tanks and just be diligent about dumping and cleaning out the tanks? Might just end up doing that if I decide not to move back to the city or suburbs. Someone needs to invent a toilet that doesn't rely on plumbing or dumping, like once your waste goes into the tank some crazy scientific process happens where it converts waste into clean water then evaporates the water or something. Whoa this comment has gotten super long, if you stopped reading halfway through I don't blame you, but another concern is: the world is kinda eff'ing crazy right now. With crime and homelessness everywhere, everyone being more aggressive... being stuck in the city or suburbs if shiz really hits the fan sounds like a recipe for disaster. First world problems I guess, just don't really have anyone to relate to about this and as you can probably tell it's been weighing on my mind for a long time. Love your channel and your videos help me feel like there is someone to relate to out there.
There is a toilet that can burn waste but it uses a lot of battery power.

I can say someone from outside looking in that your CZcams is going in a good direction! Can't speak for everyone but love paranormal and urbex abandoned places or even just seeing some really cool places that we can't get out to see.
