Q. Why isn’t ‘Off to the Vet’ available in full on CZcams?
A. ‘Off to the Vet’ film production and crowdfunding campaign was a huge undertaking for the Simon’s Cat Team. Our hope is to produce more long form, full colour content for our fans but without having to turn to them through crowdfunding again. The film was completed in 2015 and submitted it to a selection of international film festivals over the following months. During this time it was exclusively available to all funders that contributed via our private production blog. The feedback we have received from our funders has been overwhelming positive and we hope they are extremely proud of making the film a possibility. Q. What software do you use?
A. Simon's Cat is made using Adobe Flash / TV Paint animation software.
Q. Why does it take so long to make each Simon's Cat film?
A. Even though the films are made on computer software, they are still hand-animated in a traditional manner, frame to frame. It usually takes between 12 and 25 drawings to create 1 second of a Simon's Cat film.

One time I woke up and I was confused because it was super dark then I realized my cat was laying accost my face. She is a blessing and a pain.
you should know you're one of the lucky ones... my cat only suffers me to snuggle her when she's already been sleeping and I pick her up and bring her to my bed. She loves sleeping by herself in her favorite spots. I'd be so happy to wake up with my cat on my head.

i love how the owner does hardly ever react angry, he has just accepted this is how it is most of the time, the cat is annoying and he plays with it a second later and just rolls with the punches. lol. like: this is my life now.
sometimes, in a spare moment when my cat is asleep, i wonder why we do live with those weird, furry critters and tolerate their chaos. the first scene alone with the all over scratched bed, it's so true.
Owner? You must be confused. We do not own the cats, they own us. Our feline overlords have us exactly where they want us and they know it.
For all those wondering why people still enjoy living with cats, despite the fact that cats are a demanding, noisy, burden, it is exactly that..
You see, cats help provide the motivation needed to get up in the morning. These days, it is so hard to motivate yourself to do anything, especially with illnesses such as depression, and anxiety. A cat is like a small, loud, voice that always reminds you that you have someone who needs you..right now, for food. Dogs are great, but they follow their master, which means that if their master can't get up for days, the dog will follow...leading the owner to feel even more guilty for not getting up. But a cat will persist for hours until you wake up and give it what it wants, and if you really can't get up, you don't have to feel too worried, because cats can go outside by themselves, poop by themselves, and almost definitely feed themselves.
Plus they literally emit positive vibrations.
Cats are the best medicine for everything.

Yes but if you love your dog the love for them will get you up to take care of them. Esspesially if you set schedules for them. I own 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 ducks, a rooster, and a male guinea fowl. I love all of my animals and have scheduled times for them to eat. It was like this even when I just had my one dog Aice. Oh and by the way, once you get the on theses schedules, they'll wake you up when it's time. By licking, sniffing, or making a ton of noise.

As an owner of 5 kitties, I can confidently say this is an accurate description of how the wreak havoc on a daily basis. I'm still convinced they plot together on a nightly basis on how to get more food out of me the next day, or who's turn it is to screech the loudest or make the most mess!
Still wouldn't live without the rascals, even if I have to conjure the horror of bum licking just as I'm about to take a mouthful of food (thanks kitties, great timing!)

My boy wakes me at 4am every morning to eat then he wants to be let outside. Then at 6am he wants back inside. Sometimes he brings me a dead bunny and sometimes he’s full of ticks. I also can’t keep my cat off my kitchen counter. He’s determined to be as close to me as possible. Luckily he doesn’t play with the toilet paper, but he’s an older cat. He was abandoned by his old family and we took him in and love him. No matter what they do , we adore cats. We just can’t help but love the little lions.

This is scarily accurate to how my cats act. Minus the whole "attempted murder with a baseball bat" thing. Come to think of it, my cats did throw a mini baseball bat at me in my sleep.

I love it. Simon´s Cat is like all my days. I have 4 cats. I love them. Really. But sometimes it is not easy. There is no pizza without hairs of cats and there is no moment alone. But I love them all. Really. In this moment one of them on my legs an other on my feets and one look for me like "play with me". Morning starts if they are hungry and day ends when they are asleep. I love them :D
At the beginning I had only two cats. brother and sister. But in first year there was an emergency and so I get a third kitty. cause the third kitty was more activ than the others I took a young cat. Since six years I have 4-6 cats in my flat cause I help where ever a cat needs help. And it is funny. never boring. And I save heating costs. With cats cuddling warms more than enough.Sometimes it also costs enormous nerves. And I can never leave New Year's Eve. But I love them. Sometimes more. Sometimes a little bit fewer.I can not imagine life without them.

Which state do you live in? Arizona? I forget which ones don't follow the daylight savings time model. Sunrise varies anywhere from 5:30am to 7:30am. Unfortunately for me, sunrise isn't until 6:54 right now. But that doesn't stop my cats!!
ThumpnFig Only Arizona and Hawaii, iirc. Used to live in Hawaii for a few years so I know what it was like, though it was far more steady; we didn't have much seasonal change down there. Up here in Washington, where I currently reside, we do.

When I was a volunteer to teach ESL English as a Second language I used to show these videos and ask the student ti tell me what is happening in the picture. It is great for recalling everyday conversation words.
