Paraná is an indigenous Tupi Guarani word meaning an arm of
wide and extensive river that forms an island and meets the same river further on. It’s also a Estate in South of Brazil. Also its a word very common in Capoeira music/dance and I’m pretty sure they wanted to bring that reference from traditional Brazilian culture when they chose this particular word.
