  • Dani shows you how to show sew a beach kimono, just in time for summer. Don't worry about working out! (Dani's diet definitely shows she's not about calorie stress...seriously.. how much pizza can one girl eat?) Just make this cute cover up and work it!

Thanks for this video. I’m going to try it. I wish you were able to give us a full view of the coverup. ❤

You could have backed up so we could actually see the completed product, instead of seeing just the shoulders of the kimono.

I’m glad I ran across this video. I purchase a some of big scarves and I am planning on making them into swim suit coverups. They are all gorgeous, flowing, beachy fabrics. I can’t wait to transform them.

It was a informative video but it would’ve been nice to see how long it was on the girl, To see it a little bit better how it hung on a person. 🤗

Do you cut both pieces of the fabric for the neck line?

Please make more videos, your too cute and love your personality. However I would've liked to seen you stand up so we can get a better view of the garment.

ugh you make it look sooo easy! I messed mine up so I have to start over. I didn't double layer my fabric. I'm using a pattern and cut 1 piece out for the back. Do you always have to double the fabric?

Late to the party, but I thought I’d let you know that you can salvage this! Put the front right side onto the back (it’ll be on your left at this point, but they will fit together correctly) with right sides together, and pin. Sew along side of the kimono from the bottom, back stitching at the beginning, all the way through the bottom of the sleeve. Don’t sew the hole your arm needs to go through, though! 😊 Back stitch. Then sew the front and back together across the top of the sleeve, back stitching at the beginning, stopping at the point where the sleeve and front opening meet. Back stitch. Repeat for the left sleeve. Turn the kimono right side out, press your seams, and then sew all of your hemlines as per the video.

This was so cringey and you didn’t even stand up and show the finished garment. Not funny.
