I agree, I don’t get why some people are antagonizing a baby when he himself is a literal baby! Sure he’s 50 years old but he’s still considered a baby on terms of species, and I believe it’s just of those who never had a baby before and are just complaining on things that actual babies do!
I even asked my mom, who is a pediatrician, if babies do put things in their mouth and she said yes because she witness it when I was still baby I have, especially when she witness me putting ants in my mouth!... and that’s a fact! I was a very curious child at that time...
I agree that that part of it makes sense. For me it's more about the writing of that episode. Just a weird thing to play over and over again for jokes. Didn't land for me personally and just felt really awkward.

I think word you’re looking for is herpetofauna, meaning a lack of an internal thermostat. That means they derive their warmth from the environment. Reptiles have bumpy skin or scales. Amphibians, like frogs have smooth skin and they are not the same but they are both herpetofauna.

i love how everyone in this series is like "awwww baby yoda is so cute at everything" then in this episode " you little shit."
Underrated moment is when the frog lady sees Din trying to kill the spiders while holding Grogu and she takes him from him so he has both hands free and he can run and hide. Then she shoots the spider on his head. She definitely starts to feel some sympathy for him by then once she sees that he has a kid of his own that he’s caring for. Also the way almost every reactor goes into parent mode when Grogu does something bad is hilarious and such a mood.
Mando launches that bandit like “Keep your hands off my stuff and keep your hands off my son.”
Sooooo after eating a spider egg and almost getting everyone turned into spider food has our little buddy learned his lesson on consequences about eating strange food.

Yes, he's wearing a costume that was specially made by the production. In fact when he was test fitting the costume, his helmet was still being painted - so get this, they lent him the original Biggs helmet for a test fitting. :D He's a super nice guy, he has bought a few 501st costume accessories from my shop :)

I met the guy who played the guy took Mando's jetpack and put the knife to our sweet green bean baby. He was really cool in person and said he knew people would be mad at him for hurting Grogu.

(The kidnapper points at Mando's Jetpack.)
Kifnapper: "The jetpack. Give me the jetpack."

(The kidnapper puts the baby down, takes the jetpack, and runs away. The moment Baby Yoda is let go, he immedialty runs to Mando. He squeals and wimpers in Mando's arms.)

(Baby Yoda cries in mando's arms.)
Mandolorian: (concerned) "You ok.?"
Baby Yoda: (wimpers) "I think so..."
(The mandolarian looks back and glares at the kidnapper.)

(He activates the jetpack through his wrist gauntlets.)
Kidnapper: (shocked) "AHHH!"

(The jetpack then flies back to the mandalorian and Baby Yoda gives his dad a looks.)

I still can't believe we got Ice Spiders in a Star Wars live action show, before fucking Game of Thrones . And yes, I am aware they are McQuarrie SW designs.

This episode had so many good baby yoda moments in it. I wonder if he senses something about those eggs? At least we got the ice spiders big as hounds. But I couldn’t take the cuteness when he ran to Mando. I had a feeling he had a plan for getting the jetpack back. Everyone’s reactions when he controlled the jetpack remotely were priceless. Can’t wait for chapter 11. Also those spiders gave me the creeps.

Let’s just take a moment to appreciate that music when you see the frog lady eggs and when baby yoda is eying them. So good. I also kept wondering why baby yoda didn’t use any force powers. He could’ve at least force stopped that big one.
The use of his force powers is usually probably instinctual and emotionally driven, as a trained user would know when and how to call it.

He attacked a Republic military prison ship, and was involved in the death of a soldier even if he tried to stop it.
