That was some bs nobody had as much difficult time in the hyperbolic time chamber as Vegeta and trunks Goku and Gohan didn’t deal with all those harsh weather issues neither did trunks and goten
Gohan and Goku didn't go out as far as Vegeta and Trunks. They decided to not torture their bodies, however we do see Goku blasting ice with Kamehameha waves in a scene.

Did you not watch the show? There’s literally a scene with goku in the hbtc with gohan and he gets stuck in a blizzard and gets covered in ice and he has to turn ssj to break free
The room adapts to who's using it.
The coolest part about this scene was we got to see Future Trunks develop the mental toughness of being a Saiyan warrior.
They completely ruined this development in DBS by having him return to the past and not being able to handle his own timeline’s challenges by himself even though this scene taught him how to be resilient.

@kaiserfromda604 I see what you’re saying but it’s kinda not fair to say that really for this time , black was a lot worse than the androids and he took out everyone including his mother just about and the survivors weren’t really helpful fr. he had no choice but to go back to the past unless he wanted to die. it was good he didn’t hold on to any pride like his father, he would’ve died. he wasn’t eating, barely getting stronger especially up to black’s level. it was a smart move on him. he was tough mentally, he just needed a reminder, he been going through a lot so it makes sense how he may of strayed away from that a bit
@@jaredmitchell1898 True, that entire arc was handled pretty poorly in my opinion. Because I firmly believe that Trunks should have continued to keep getting stronger. They did mention that he shouldn’t get relaxed and lessen his training, but given what he experienced in the past timeline with Cell alongside his own timeline, it would be reasonable to think that he would have figured out a way to push pass SSJ2 on his own without having to return to the past again.
Not even Goku and Vegeta could handle the challenge in Trunks' timeline lol
They could have used the hyperbolic time chamber to prepare for the androids but having 3 years of a training period is more than likely why they didn't use it.
Or use it prior to the saiyan saga
