" As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, 11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned." Titus 3:10-11
Jemar Tisby is a man who brings division and accusses the brethren. Mark this man and have nothing to do with him. If his teachings sound pleasing to you and tickle your ears, examine yourself for the sake of your own soul.

Jemar Tisby is a false teacher like the pharisees who invalidate God's word (which teaches not covet rich people and not to treat a Christian brother or sister differently based on race) by his imposing manmade morality onto others. God will judge him for leading sheep astray into this "social justice". Soon he'll be calling for LGBT pastors in the name of "justice!"

@@queenathegreat7574 There is only one kind of Justice, that which people deserve as individuals. Jesus worked on principles of justice on an individual case, and if he was consumed with justice more than mercy, the Universe would be a better place because all of humanity would be destroyed. All of us individually not as a group, deserve Justice in God's eyes and unfathomably we got grace instead. I pray to God that ALL individuals of humanity past present and future, have found and will find and accept Christ into their hearts before Judgement day. Total victory in Christ Jesus! Justice is not group designated. I condemn the racism and evil of the Nazis, but justice is to those who as individuals choose the path of evil, they started out wanting to racially call out others and nothing more, and eventually they were happy with people in ovens, they choose by themselves. Justice isnt getting a group to do something based on the guilt of someone else, justice is getting the individuals totally responsible to get what they deserve.

It is a logical error to attack the person in order to defeat his ideas. You would have to blind not to realize that racism in the church mirrors racism in our society. Paul admonished Christians to not be conformed into the image of this world, but to be transformed. Unfortunately when it comes to racial relations I have experienced the same sort of White Supremacy in churches as I have in general society.

Whites sidestep the Black experience because of what it might mean about them as people. The "White Fragility" plays into that also; and, if they do acknowledge Black pain, abuse, then they might be responsible for becoming a change agent. Think of what that might mean to them in terms of family, friends, work, and community. Most don't want to make the sacrifice.

As an Alaskan, I don't see much of this racism stuff. Our "ghetto" is mostly white and native. Our culture is a lot different than, for example, Alabama, so when I went there I was aghast at the overt racism. My dad noted that the hardware store still employs a black guy to serve the black customers and he purposely asks that guy for help because he's better at his job, also to push back against racist culture. Being non-racist in a more racist state is weird and people look askance at us, but I just don't get the racism culture.
A question: when someone gives your organization money, and you call it a form of reparations, do you log them as having atoned for their complicity in systemic racism? Where is the ledger kept and how do we know which people have sufficiently atoned and who hasn't? And how should we treat those who haven't? And for whites like me who grew up in a much newer state with little or no racist past or infrastructure, can we just live our lives unburdened by this additional need for atonement or are we somehow complicit in the racism in the lower 48? I'm pretty confused by all this, and I usually get shut down for asking sincere questions.

If you're going to hear the SJW side, you might as well open it up and listen to Baucham, Sowell, Swain and hundreds of other dissenting African American Conservatives. Of course, most people on the Left won't bother to listen to those people of color. Dr. Bachman can stay rooted in his vision of aligning with the white cultural dynamics. I’m not at all against him doing what works best for his life and lifestyle. But he can do all that and still acknowledge the factual truth of systemic racism in this country. That’s why I have a problem with Black conservatives, they are enablers to a systemic racist view. They reject the truth because it would undermine their association to whiteness/colorblindness/no CRT, etc.
It’s a true shame because we need their balance to finally eradicate systemic racism. They are in a great position to initiate change in their circles of influence. But they won’t risk being ostracized by their White friends.

I'm sorry, man. Just can't get onboard with this idea. Slavery and systemic racism are truly evil things, but it's gone in the U.S.. Slavery itself abolished more than 150 years ago and systemic racism for about 70. Is it wise to learn from past evils and not do them again? Of course it is. Is it wise to dredge up the distant past and hold people who were born much, *much* later guilty for the crimes of their ancient ancestors? Of course it's not! The overwhelming majority of people alive today in the west think slavery and systemic racism were nothing less than an abomination. But...those things are gone now and have been.

These topics demand prayerful reflection, as nobody (PC or otherwise) has the answer. Sadly, racism has been deeply embedded in nearly every culture in the Americas from the very start. It's even worse in some Latin American nations than in the USA. I've tried to do my share. I dated a minority girl in high school (and received some racist feedback) and my current girlfriend is also a minority. What is needed is a prayerful & humble spirit, to admit the severe errors of our compatriots, charity toward all and malice toward none, freedom from revenge, and love for all creatures made in God's image. I feel that the strongest stand for social justice & equality is 1 Timothy 6:6-12. It's not what anyone wants to hear, but an overlooked cause of racism & other social evils is GREED, but the passage in 1 Timothy tells us to be content with a sufficiency. If a contentment with a sufficiency were made part of most cultures, many problems would be lessened. I must agree that many people have been complicit, as very few Christian leaders, including most who claim to be concerned for "social justice," have miserably failed to denounce GREED, though the Bible in Ephesians 5:5 denounces it as a form of idolatry which will keep its practitioners out of the Kingdom of Christ & of God. The Bible gives us many resources!
