We Japanese love Turkey.I am Japanese. On September 16, 1890,An Ottoman ship Ertuğrul Fırkateyni was wrecked in the sea near Japan. Most of the people on the boat were many thrown into the sea because of the storm.
Japanese people rescued the Turks thrown into the sea.The Japanese continued to rescue the Turks without rest. 69 Turks have been rescued.Japan treated the injured many Turks who were saved. The Japanese gave the Turkish a warm meal every day. So many Japanese donated money to save the Turks. The Japanese loved and cared for the 69 Turkish people. The Turks injury has healed.
And Japan sent the survivors of the Turks safely to the Ottoman Empire. The 69 Turks were able to reunite with their beloved family and friends.
The Japanese love Turkish , memorial ceremonies are still held for Turkish people who have died.

Suffixes added one another makes it incredibly hard and also there are many exceptions to some grammatical rules. I personally witnessed from my students that one can easily acquire enough Turkish in just a few months in a Turkish speaking environment and in one year you will be very fluent as the Turks will be happy to help you.

Agreed and I must add that the language is DIFFERENT from Indo-European Languages (so it will be relatively difficult) and the learning material is not as good and profound as it is for English or other Western Languages. However, Turkish is the EASIEST of all ASIAN Languages, and when you understand the logic, it is actually very simple (not necessarily easy though). Again, the problem is not the language but the lack of good learning materials and only a few people who speak both English and Turkish well.

2:15 by the way I didn’t hear any mistakes from her usage of suffixes. So she speaks a very advanced Turkish even though she says that she has lots of trouble.
I think the key to learn suffixes is to understand the sound harmony in Turkish. After that everything is very formalized and there is no exception almost (except some foreign rooted words). But even if you make mistakes, it won’t matter much for a native turkish speaker. We are used to hear turkish spoken in many different ways. So the ones who try to learn turkish, please don’t get discourage and speak with a native speaker without hesitation or fear of getting judged thinking how bad you speak. Usually native turkish speakers are happy to help when they hear foreigners trying to speak the language and don’t judge the level of their fluency.
