The dress starts to flare out because of the weight difference in the yarn, the mohair is bigger so it gives it a little flare. You can switch from chain 3 to chain 4 where you want a flare effect🫶🏿🫶🏿🥰

I use a 5.5mm hook and a weight 4 yarn. & I can’t fix the audio but the in screen text is exactly what I’m saying. If you’re a complete beginner, I suggest watching other tutorials on crochet terms so it’s easier to follow along by following the on screen text for the parts you can’t see very well - hopefully this helps!
@@kimarielamb4029you chain six at the beginning but after you do the holes for the sleeves and you start to crochet in circles you chain 3 instead to make it even. Hope it helps!

Thank you! So for this dress I specifically use a Gradient yarn that has multiple colors in it so I don’t have to worry about changing colors but there’s a bunch of ways to change color easily that I can show in another video 🫶🏾

You could either switch to Ch 2 instead of Ch 3 or add one Ch 2 in each consecutive row for a gradual slight decrease!

To put a slit in your dress, stop chain in the round and just start flipping your work and working in the other direction where you want the slit 🥰

That’s because I personally didn’t increase or reduce the dress. If you want to increase, chain 4 instead of chain 3 and to decrease chain 2 instead

Sorry for the late reply 😭 but the first, place 1 sc each in the next two actually stitches and then end it off with a slip stitch!
