Thanks for an awesome and thorough review as always! Rolling with my SL Sportsâs this year!
Thanks Andy đđ Canât go wrong with a pro SL
this is one of the best reviews for a shoe I have seen. The waterproof test sold the shoe to me. thank you. liked and subscribed
Thanks Dave, really appreciate it đ
Great review as ever Kevin đđïžââïž
Thanks Kenny đ
Another lovely looking shoe in my opinion but another crazy price..... Another great review
Thanks Mark. Not sure Iâd say itâs a crazy price, seems in line with other premium shoesâŠthe new Nike Victory Tour 3 is ÂŁ200+ (and Iâd go with the FJ still)
i found i couldn't get them tight enough .. because the laces dont actually pull the shoe in.. (maybe different with boa) .. so it felt like they were sliding off .. length and width were fine.. nice shoes .. going to try alpha tour instead
Good review and accurate, actually just bought these along with a pair of ZG23s, after reviewing both decided to keep the ZG23s and return the Hyperflex, just a better fit, bit more comfortable, easier to get on/off and will be easier to keep clean, also read a few reviews of the Hyperflex falling apart, sorry FootjoyâŠ.
Not tried the ZG23s yet, been a little too busy to get to all the new shoes this year
I have these and the Nike Victory Tour 2. The Nikes are better in my opinion. Both have a wider toe box which is great, spikes, and great comfort. The Nikes have better traction and energy return with the React foam. And at the moment, the Nikes are the better value given the price comparison.
Thanks for sharing Perry. I just grabbed a pair of the new Victory Tour 3âs for ÂŁ215âŠ.ÂŁ35 more than these feels a bit punchy
I had the old boa version and on sidehill lies my feet would go over the edge. That was where I had the issue. Awkward lies caused issues to get a proper footing
Sounds like these would fix that. No BOA on the Carbon in the UK though, only USA
Great review. Have you looked at the Ecco range?
Thanks Graham. Iâve reviewed the Ecco H4 recently, and an planning to buy a pair of C4âs too to review
@@GolfGuyReviews cool Iâll take a look.
Ugh. I struggle with my wide foot. But the carbon plate is a great add
Footjoy do sell a wide version đ
Nice looking shoes but wont stay so with a white sock area. Will stay with my Ecco albeit not the prettiest shoe to look at but they are supportive and so comfortable.
No need to change đ

In terms of comfort for walking 18, how does this rank for a spiked shoe? Spikeless generally seem to be bit easier on my feet when I am walking, but not having spikes when it's a bit wet out is definitely a downside. Is this the answer to my prayers?
I think these are extremely comfortable for a spiked shoe, if they fit your feet well. Youâve got tons of padding under foot
Have you found a way to keep the knit sock portion clean? I just bought them new and heard that is the complaint.
I'd suggest using some form of protection spray. Other than that, just warm soapy water after use should hopefully do the trick.
How does the FJ Hypeflex compare to the ECCO shoes ? Are they better and do I need the wide fit or not really ? Thanks !
Both are great quality. Ecco seems to have an upper that scuffs easier. Iâd say Eccos generally have a wider fit too, but FJ have wide options if you have a wider foot đ
Very nice review. I'll stick to my footjoy fuel's for now for a third of the price. âłđđ»
Thanks Heath. Iâm not too made at the price, I think itâs justified for those happy to pay it đ
@@GolfGuyReviews yeah I totally get it. If money was not a problem I'd be buying these shoes, they look great. They might draw some unwanted attention stood on the tee box though.. Not a problem if you've got the game to back it up. #allthegearandnoidea đđđ»âł
I bought this shoe in the end of July. Unfortunatly the shoe broke in the plastic lace loop after only 2 months. Ive contacted FJ and We Will see what happnens.
Other than that, amazing shoes for me. Im scratch golfer but i weigh in at 105kg so rly need a stable shoe. Most comfortable shoe ive tried and put my best round ever this year in theese.
Hopefully they sent a new pair out to you? You might be better off with the Tour Alpha, Iâd say thatâs even more stable and just as comfortable underfoot
FJ loves to make me feel like I have small feet, I'm a 10 in nike / adidas (and all my street shoes), a 9 in the premier series, and an 8.5 in the hyperflex lmao
đ€Łđ€Ł it is weird that sizing isnât just the same for all brands
Nice shoes but they are on the very pricey side
I agree theyâre expensive, but I donât feel theyâre a rip off as thereâs a lot of tech going in to them
