    I just bought husky plastics and am stoked for this vid! If I can’t fabricate my own design, I’ll definitely run this up!

    Does it matter if you use the 18mm prickly riser or the 24mm

    • @motomatt224
      @motomatt224  Před měsícem

      Both work the exact same. I originally had the 18mm but switched to the 24mm rise.

    Great video, one question tho since the fender is not just for looks - the stock surron front fender splashes up rain water onto the front plate or even higher up, does this ktm 65 fender eliminate any water splashing up on the bars?

    Do they sell those fender model for different sizes of tires? I'm in Europe so could use the direct shipping link. My one now is huge, won't fit in between and is long as wide AF and looks super not sexy and super oversized 😢

    • @motomatt224
      @motomatt224  Před 9 měsíci +1

      you need the KTM 65 front fender, the 85,125,250,450 will all be wayyy to big.

    Hi, could I please ask you for mesurement from triple clamp to the centre of hole?
    I have different riser so it would help me to complete it better.
    Thanks

    • @motomatt224
      @motomatt224  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Line up the number plate and use a sharpie to mark where the bolt goes on the triple clamp. That’s how I did mine it just happened to land on the prickly logo.

    • @motomatt224
      @motomatt224  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Just mark through the bolt hole on the number plate

      I have 15mm riser and just ordered KTM plastic, so I don ´t really know if it will work with just 15mm.🤗 Do you think it will be enough?

    I’m gonna give it a go with a zip tie first before tapping and drilling 😂

  • @cwangmuzic
    @cwangmuzic Před 5 měsíci +2

    What size screw/washers did you use when you drilled the direct stem mount? You mentioned a harbor freight kit? Links?

    • @SuronBoys
      @SuronBoys Před 4 měsíci

      Did you end up finding out which screw/washer to use? Thanks

    • @cwangmuzic
      @cwangmuzic Před 4 měsíci

      @@SuronBoys i ended up using a 10-24 x 1-1/2 inch hex head slotted machine screw and tapped the direct stem mount for that type of screw. Used two half inch spacers as well to keep it from hitting the wires. Video doesn’t do a great job explaining that so i had to figure it out. Wasn’t too hard though.

    • @SuronBoys
      @SuronBoys Před 4 měsíci

      @@cwangmuzic Awesome, thanks so much. Did you tap the stem itself or the prickly riser?

    • @cwangmuzic
      @cwangmuzic Před 4 měsíci

      @@SuronBoys I tapped directly into the mount for the light. Two bolts, unscrew that from the prickly riser mount tap a hole through it screw it back on. The mount for the light is very thin, so it should be pretty easy to tap.

      It’s a grit shift V2 rear fender. I have it linked in the description under “Amazon List”

    Do I need that light mount or can I just order the stem riser?
