Still brings It all back some 4 odd years ago now.. I raced on the very first meeting at ARENA right up till the 1986 Banger world Final, but in that period of time I also raced Mini rods, Anglia Rods, Bangers and Stox, loved them all, but a "sorted" cortina with one of my race motors in it, was the best feeling ever.. Glad I raced, I with many others I met In the 4 different formulas.. We all have to stop racing at some point, the 1998BWF for me was that point I guess, I just had enough.. I just needed time off from racing but once that magic had gone It never came back.. - It happens I guess. - But thanks for the memories.

Thanks for the reply, this is really bad news! I wonder if it will relocate, I only went a couple of times but it's yet another track sold to developers. My local was Wimbledon and I still miss it.

There’s no more race tracks / stadiums within and near the M25 now sad times london has no more left

@@simonsmall6446 The last I heard was the clubhouse and bar had been pulled down but the actual track was still there minus lots of safety features gone to another track, SWAFHAM I believe, and an ex-racer now runs it also.. the spirit has moved along with the magic. To live again elsewhere
