I honestly can't count the times Connor has done something he thought was totally natural just for it to make mouse tear up from joy. They're so wholesome and loving friends. Friendship goals right there.
I won't lie, I did as well when I did the experience. My mom was looking over me and mentioned to me that I seemed to have the most joy putting it together, which I did. It's expensive, but so worth it for just the experience part. Otherwise I'd buy online from ebay if wanting savi saber or just getting ultrasabers for a cheaper price.

Out of the available colors, I'd probably choose red or purple, but I wish some of the wilder colors from the Old Republic Era were available. Sentinel yellow is still probably my favorite saber color.
You can switch the Kyber crystal inside and make it whatever color you like. ( its a multi color leds the crystal tells the saber what color to project.)
happened to have a toy lightsaber nearby so i placed it on the table nearby and i ended up getting the chills when i picked it up when instructed. the virtual experience where you ask someone "Take me there" and they do, it's a real special feeling.

Honestly, After the sequel trilogy I kinda fell out with Star Wars but this whole experience looks so fun. I know if I was there as a kid I'd be eating up all this roleplay and getting so into it.
i went with a friend to disneyland when galaxys edge first opened and all i wanted to do was build a lightsaber. she has never seen any of t he movies but went in with me just to see the show, and she ended up crying and wanting to watch all the movies after.
IronMouse is really into this. But I guess she's kind of like a caged bird with access to the internet. Able to learn about everything she can't see. Without Connor she probably would never have an experience like this. Not sure how old she is, but still a kid at heart. It's sweet to see.

During mine and my husband's fifth anniversary, Galaxy's Edge was still pretty new and it was the tail end of quarantine when we went. My oldest brother really wanted lightsabers, so he paid for us to build him some. Do I think it's overpriced? Absolutely. But it was so much fun. Next time I go, I want to build my own lightsaber, and my own droid. I'm so glad Connor took Mouse to do this. You can tell they both enjoyed it. I wish I could have caught this stream live. But I'm glad I can watch it later.

In reality in the real star wars lore you could use any crystal that could handle them power to create a beam of light. Some sabers had bronze or copper thee was even sabers that changed colors like dazzling lights through a white background light.it was from a corusca gem.
