Maybe it’s not that she doesn’t have “stage presence” but she’s not a dancer, she probably just doesn’t know how to control her breath while dancing and it’s not an easy thing to learn. Remember, she’s a SINGER, and being a singer doesn’t automatically make you a performer and I think she’s just trying to improve little by little.

Agreeed! It requires a serious concentration and proper application of technique. Maybe that's why she wasn't comfortable with moving so much. But she's learning now, and I'm sure she's improving. Breath support isn't so easy. That's why not everyone can pull off 'rock' genre
many singers are not dancers either and they still show they can control the stage (taylor swift, ariana, katy are also not great dancers but they have great stage presence), dua lipa problem imo was confidence nerves and maybe even lack of practice, she looked scare on stage. But she improve so much, Im happy for her
now that I think about it the choreography may also be a problem, if you are seeing your artist struggle to sell the song you modify it a bit, hell make the backup dancers do the crazy moves and she doing the iconic, poses but again, confidence will be key to make her stand out more

Because literally no one could look good doing this. The reason they look bad is because of bad choreography, and while she does have that it's about stage presence. Backup dancers in the most unoffensive way are decoration. I'm a dancer but on the side I do backup dancing for different productions, and being a backup dancer in a musical and in a concert are two different things. The backup dancers in concerts not saying they shouldn't have but I'm saying they don't need stage presence whereas in a musical like let's say Hamilton or Les Mis you would need a lot of emotion as a backup dancer

I agree. Just because someone can sing doesn't mean they have an affinity to dancing, and I'm honestly getting tired of people expecting singers to also be good at dancing. Some might have dancing skills, but just don't want to dance during live shows and some might outright rather spend their time practising songs than training dances. Because practising something that doesn't come natural to you can be a waste of time if it isn't something you like, or a necessity.
And it isn't a necessity, because a good performance can consist of many things, it doesn't have to be the singer dancing around on a stage.
Performing doesn't equal dancing.
Even when she's just walking along the stage though she still doesn't have any presence.
Apparently that wasn't true, in all her recent performances it really seems like she's learned how to do it
but she is really a sweet person she came to my country for vacation i work as a part time waitress and i saw her i was so excited but i was too shy to ask for a photo as she was with her bf . after i told her i was a big fan she smiled and said thank you and did't hesitated to take a photo she also tipped me a good amount so yeah it was a good day
