Alaska’s North Slope is home to some of the largest oil fields in the country. Hundreds of drill sites and thousands of wells supply the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and ultimately the Lower 48 with Alaskan crude oil.

@@Jjva158 Yes they are. I worked doing fiber and microwave communications on the pipeline from 1998 to 2013 mostly north of Fairbanks.

@@Jjva158 This administration won’t issue permits to drill on Federal land. The feds control a bunch of land in Alaska. They sell leases to the oil companies but then won’t issue a drilling permit.
