The amazing fact is, he is not profesionally trained. He listen with his ears and copy with his voice.
He deserve to be the Grand Final. He got the unique voice and no one like him. Hopefully he will sing duet voice in the final not solo. We're so proud of you Marcelito and loveđyou.

Even if he doesn't win, for one reason or another, at least many people around the world, acknowledged him now for his extremely good and fantastic way of singing. He was able to show the world that he is one of those people that can be categorized as an entertainer extra-ordinaire.
Winning AGT doesn't mean any more for Filipinos and for those music enthusiasts as well as YT reactors coz he's already a winner to the heart of millions of people around the world who keep on listening to his performances like The Prayer and Power of Love. female opera singers and the technique is flawless coz Marcelito knows it will flow through him the way he want to sing it. Thatâs why itâs a God given talent.
He should include his natural voice--- maybe that's the risk Simon was talking about. A song with the tenor voice, soprano voice, and his own singing voice.

And to think he wasnt able to give his best on that performance because he was sick. He was worried if he belted out too much he might have a heart attack so he was actually toning it down.
Love your reaction. My take is no matter how good a singer he is and since this is not a purely singing competition (wishing it was) with the acrobatic/robotic/flying acts plus Simon Cowell there, I think singing act has no chance. I hope I am mistaken. But for me, Marcelito Pomoy is already a Winner. â€ïž his performance. So Love your channel. Thanks

This is "talent" show. Which is why you can see varied talents.
Supposedly it should be how good one is with their talent.
But Simon is a tone deaf and talent blind guy at times. Boogie storm golden buzzer? Seriously?
Singing act has no chance? Out of the 14 seasons of AGT, there have been 6 singers who won the competition. the rest is a combination of different acts (3 ventriloquists,1 ukelele sensation,1 dancer,2 magicians, 1 dog trainers)

I like your comments and your incisive analysis of Marcelito Pomoy's talent and techniques, you being a vocal coach and a singer. You also acknowleged that you are a new fan of Marcelito Pomoy. I've got a question and would like to know what your advise is or suggestion as to what Marcelito is going to sing in the finals to bolster his chances of winning the contest, having been challenged by Simon Cowell to "up or ante" his song selection in the finals. Would you agree that a medley of "Beauty and the Beast and Phantom of the Opera" could make him a winner, and if not, from your end, what song should he sing? Thank you and more power to you for your dichotomy of his songs.
Great question! I love both, the song "Talse as old as time" from Beauty and the beast, and Phantom of the opera is my all time favourite musical. I think both picks would be good for Marcelito, but maybe he should risk it a bit and try to find a song thats more up-beat, faster but has some crazy vocal lines. Maybe if he could sing Opera 2 by Vitas, even though that may not be something that he's used to, but it's a song with 2 voices and it's pretty hard to sing. If he could do it the way he sings Andrea, that would be a sure win!
I agree. He should do both Vitas version and Dimash version of Opera 2 in one song if he can, it'll be mind blowing! But he usually sing slow songs, but I think he can do it since he can sing Despacito with rap and all and the slight change of voice but the preparation time may not be enough for him to fully familiarize himself with the tune of the song and lyrics unlike the first two songs he did on AGT which he already have been singing them for a while so he knows it very well. Excellent reaction coach by the way!
@@catheriner7703 yes, there may not be enough time and the lyrics would be a problem, but maybe that's exactly what would show everybody that he can level up even from these awesome performances. It's may be hard, but hey, it's the finals. Anyway, a faster number would be a fresh thing to do I believe
Catherine R Search his Despacito rendition. Itâs a fast song and he nailed it! He sang it many times and one was when the Royal family of Spain invited him.
@@evelynaquino2566 I saw it but for the finals I don't think it will have much of an impact. What the coach suggested the Opera 2 is a nice one, it will make his abilities shine. Try searching for it. If only there was enough time and if only someone from his crew will suggest it to him, it can definitely bring the wow factor into the show.
