This session makes me sob. I found Erin Rae while I was in college, when I felt lonely and spiritually unsteady. I got to see her in concert there where I lived at the time, which remains my favorite place in the world. She played in a large auditorium, and I listened to the whole set with my eyes closed, head resting on the shoulder of a boy who I loved. Her music completely cocooned me; it's one of my most precious memories.
