I watched this when it first aired and it hits so much harder now. It sad how combative she is with a man that could be her father. He spent so much effort trying to help her and her anger caused her to miss every opportunity.

thats what real people do. my grand parents survived serfdom making less than 2 dollars a month, my parents knows what real hunger feels like but survived too, i grew up in the favela (brazilian guettos) yet i never had to plow land or felt hungry enough to fall into crime (half my male cousins are dead or locked up), and now that i make a few dollars the only thing on my mind is to give my parents their deserved retirement and a simple house so all of us can live together and raise my future kids. hope them kids can explore the world one day. god willing.

The fact that this woman spoke to a man who's 30 years her senior with such contempt proves how bad the conditions are in our communities in regards to the women.

This is a typical case of being disagreeable for the sake of being disagreeable. She called his show to argue because she doesn’t have a man to argue with. Kevin has become a counselor, therapist, surrogate father and fill in boyfriend for many of these women who don’t want to face the truth about themselves.

KS reminds me a little of my Father who is from Hong Kong. Very blunt and direct. Some take it as being rude but it's really not. Old school people don't have the time or want to play games or not tell the truth no matter how much it hurts. He once told my sister at 17 that she was getting fat. She wasn't fat but for Asian standards she was a little overweight. She shed those pounds fast and has been with the same man for over 20 years now. He once told me that I was lazy and unmotivated. He was right. I didn't get angry or depressed. I changed for the better and now at 41 am going to retire by 50. Lying to someone only prolongs their suffering. Be honest with yourself and others.

She is on her way to having a very very hard life. Several times I just wanted to stop watching but just kept on. We are seeing the result of single mother hood and it's not just a black problem. I'm white, raised by a single mom. But her brothers (9 of them) straightened me out and that's a big reason why I became successful.

I can't tell you as a retired Army soldier, she's having a hard time in the Army. And that's if she hasn't gotten out or been put out. I knew a young soldier just like her, and they looked alike. Out of the Army, but fortunately, she got married to her two children. She's damaged at 22. Wow. Really sad. And she's not listening at all.

The man still had to put in the work to have the bounty "God provided". What "God will provide" really means is that God won't put more obstacles in your way so that you can achieve stability in your livelihood.
What I heard from her ...
1. Her income level is poverty level. And she is stuck. She might go back active duty, but it isn't what she wants to do.
2. There isn't a thing in her name. She is basically sleeping on somebody else's couch.
3. Her comprehension level is near zero. This went from giving her advice to becoming an argument that she has to win. And the more she argues the more it comes off as "you don't need to hurt somebody's feelings".
