It’s so beautiful. I love the vintage Kellys and Chanel Flaps. A black box with gold hardware is on my wish list but I’m after a 32. There seems to be a lot more of those around, especially in Japan. I have been watching them for a few years and knew I couldn’t afford one before 2024, which has been very frustrating because I estimate that the price of them has doubled in the past three years. It even seems to have gone up several thousand since Christmas.

I love that Chanel shirt and would love to have it. I have reached out to Luxury Promise in the past and never heard back. The bag is stunning but really who cares who it belonged to I am not sure why that is so exciting.

Whats exciting is the bag, it’s a very rare, exceptional collectors bag. It’s also a personal fave style of mine. For us that’s very exciting. Where it came from is just a bit of fun, nothing more.

Have to be careful of Luxury Promise. Purchased a vintage box Kelly, sent to Hermes spa and turned out the handbag was painted or dyed in the corners. Was not disclosed on live show.

I would never buy a suede bag. Especially in rainy London. Not impressed
You don’t need to be impressed. It’s a handbag it’s personal taste like anything we wear. As a collector is “impressive” as you would say. It’s classed as exceptional and ten time harder to get than normal leathers. It also has three times the resale of normal leathers. Now for personal preference. The suede bags are a liability. They are so fragile and will mark in a day, agree. However, I personally love the used suede look like Kims bag. I’m going to enjoy the bag still, maybe more when it’s like this. But you don’t need to be impressed by any of my bags. It’s one I enjoy and maybe a few others enjoy it too.
Why not just go to a cobbler condition the bag and remove all the scratches.
