Bishop and the X-Men fight Nimrod | X-Men: The Animated Series - Days of Future Past

After travelling back in time from the year 2055 to the 1990's, the mutant Bishop can't remember what is the purpose of his mission. Upon arriving at the X-Mansion, he's helped by Professor Charles Xavier who, utilizing Cerebro, looks into Bishop's mind. The images he sees are horrifying. It becomes clear that Bishop traveled back to prevent an event that will trigger the genocide of mutants and humans alike. Soon afterwards, the X-Men encounter the indestructible future Sentinel called Nimrod who has followed Bishop to the past. Thus they get the first taste of the horrific future that they have to avert.
