I was completely addicted to windsurfing all through the 90s. Literally addicted. If the traffic lights were holding a bit sideways it didn't matter what I had planned. This video shows the best view I've seen in any windsurfing video before. It shows how when fully planed off, you're standing on the fin.... about a little bit of the board around the fin, but that's it. It hardly ever shows, and people think the the whole board is touching the water like a boat. Nope, standing on the fin! It's the most incredible feeling I've ever had in my life. Fully planed off, smooth water, right sail, right board, rich fin, hooked into the harness, lean into it, position the sail, straighten your back leg and hang on!!! The acceleration is incredible. So good. So so good. Thank you 🙏
Please show more windsurfing. It's not dead! A group of us regularly sail a bay where I live when it blows 20+ knots. Awesome fun, except for the kite surfers in the way, they suck.
@@Paiadakine What a nice jibe? Surfers try to define themselves about speed. But this is yesterday. Today winging and working on a foil in different axis and no fixed mast thats a deal. Surfing will die...
