As someone who has seen them live twice, I can tell there is something wrong with Lynn (either emotionally, mentally, or physically). I can tell she isn't giving 100%.

It's not a secret that she suffers from a stomach ailment and that she has struggled with mental health, and this is not at all the energetic, and absolutely glowing Lynn I saw live opening for BMTH. Such a fenominally talented musician and front(wo)man, this video doesn't do her justice! I really hope she's well..

I have to say I really miss Lynn's 2013-15 performances. She seemed to have much more energy. & I think Lynn has started singing more with her head voice now. Her voice sounded stronger in earlier performances, and she barely tries to use any distortion in her voice now...perhaps she's afraid of damage or doesn't trust her voice, but she's super talented & I wish she'd trust herself more. It kind of reads on her face that she's overthinking herself while performing.
no she doesn't sound her best. but you have to think of how difficult it is to play on stage. this band works very hard. the nervousness of playing in front of this many people is unimaginable. a real fan wouldn't care if they sound exactly like their studio recording when they play live. maybe she's going through something, maybe she's just extremely nervous. no one knows. true pvris fans would always love and support them no matter how they sound
Until you’re a vocalist, don’t complain about Lynn’s vocals. She’s stated before that she’s finally getting to where she isn’t as stage frightened as she usually is. Her voice sounds AMAZING here. Nobody is a PERFECT vocalist. That’s stupid and just for the studio. Here she is raw and putting her pure energy in to it. Aside from that, do you realize playing at these shows are more difficult than playing their own shows because the people here aren’t just here for Pvris and maybe not at all because they sadly haven’t heard of them so they’re waiting it out so so you imagine how awkward that has to be facing tons of people who have no idea who you are? THAT IS COURAGE!

They played after Nothing but Thieves [PVRIS & NBT opened for Muse both; Muse was the last gig on the day before] and I didn't know about them before that. Just an ordinary opinion it's extremely difficult for someone to sing live. Even the more experienced singers with years of practising may do mistakes, but Lynn has changed her singing style dramatically I'm not aware if she had problems in the past with her voice but honestly the distortion and the aggressiveness she was giving in her voice 2 years ago made her special among other frontwomen it's a shame we are not able to feel this anymore
Better to listen to pvris with Lynn going through shit of her own struggling with physical and mental pain then to listen to this new age fucking shit played on the radio. This is real music. Shit that doesn’t get on the radio is the BEST. it’s from the heart. That’s what really matters. Not no “I wrote this song Bc my producer told me too”type of shit. real music. Try it out sometime.

Her singing is great now too, i just think she misses that "aggressiveness" she had some years ago, like her growls

Lynn's vocals just don't cut though. I can barely hear the lyrics she's singing and they should get a live keyboardist or arrange the songs with less synths. The guitar/bass duo is so focused on playing and less on performing to the audience.

She's not even getting into the songs. She used back tracks for MANY vocals....I'd rather them just play instrumental parts than add in vocal back tracks. Like especially the "YOU TOOK MY" part in "Heaven" towards the end...like she should've been screaming that part at the audience, but instead she stood there not even singing that part at all, letting the back tracks do it. I would be so fucking confused if I was in the audience. I definitely expect her voice to sound tired, and I don't expect her to sound perfect or do every single vocal part because singing live like that is very difficult, especially because of all the touring they were doing....but this is a whole new level of weird. I saw them live in LA for their tour kick off for their last album, and she was so into the music. Her vocals weren't on point, but because of her passion for what she was singing, I didn't care about the vocals being off. Even then I wished there were less backtracks, but it looks like they added even more :(

I am from Germany myself and have been to loads of concerts ranging from club shows of unknown bands to big concert hall shows from basically rockstars and I can tell you this with absolute certainty: German crowds suck ass lol regardless of the fame of the band they're watching.
I was there, this year, at this concert. (I am German too.) And I personally think that cameras can‘t catch all emotions. It’s just my opinion but I respect yours. :)
German crowds are usually one of the best in the world, Pvris just wasn't well known, look at the Parkway Drive concert from the same weekend :) I've been to a lot of concerts in Germany and while there were some exceptions, but 90% of the time the crowds went absolutely nuts. Another example is Enter Shikari, crowds in Germany always bring energy at their concerts without being told to do anything, same with Linkin Park.

Man I adore PVRIS but... this was so disappointing to watch. Justin nailed his aspect of the performance, but everyone else just feels so stiff. I hope in time they can loosen up at big festivals like this. I'm even not gunna go into Lynn's vocals... Did anyone else get vibes that so many elements (of the whole performance) were just so off?
