I don’t know what they are called or where to be purchased out of Sweden, but here’s a link with pictures in a catalog for sports and gymnastics (as seen here on the left page in the middle. A bunch of tutorials on The Yamaha EAD10 here (how to add 5 triggers, tuning & muffling of the drums, placement of drums and using “a shield”, pitching the samples in the EAD10 to work with your drums & lots of sound samples) ✌🏻🤩

    Hey it's good to see how you let people know how to fix their drum to make the sounds and everything you do to make it look nice and make it sound good

    hey friend, thanks for the info!
    It seems to me that I have a problem with my triggers, I connect them but when I hit the drums they reproduce the sound several times, as if it were a rebound, is there a way to solve it? thank you so much, greetings from México!

      @@juliomorales8571 Hi there!
      First question, how many triggers do you have, and does it happen to all of them?
      Regardless the answer it is most likely a problem in the sensitivity/velocity curve settings (but could also be a “crosstalk problem”, which means that the vibrations from one drum trigger another).
      In the menu on the EAD10 you can address both of these things. I would begin by going through steps in page 25-31 in the manual ⬇️

    Curios on the foam disc in the toms ,what exactly are they

    • @flowerlandofjohn
      @flowerlandofjohn  Před rokem

      I’ve been googling like crazy but I can’t seam to find them 😳
      They are “disc markers” and are commonly found in sport halls and with children’s gymnastics. All I find now is a nonstick version of rubber, but mine are made of foam and are a little slippery.
      Here’s a link to “rubber nonsticky” version so you at least know what it is 😅

    Are you running your triggers into the EAD 10?

    • @flowerlandofjohn
      @flowerlandofjohn  Před 3 lety +2

      Yes. You can connect up to 5 extra triggers. The kick and snare ports are dual triggers. So you can use a Y-cable splitter and take 2 inputs from there (but then the snare and kick only use 1 trigger-zone, which is fine by me). And then there is 2 single channel that you can use also. So 6 triggers channels in total with the kick 👍🏻

      And once connected they are all volume-controlled from the same dial on the EAD10. Super smooth. Strike one drum and adjust, strike next adjust etc.
