Very true. But I’m truly working on this because like you said, I can’t be a mirror for everyone all the time. It causes me problems and it hurts their feelings and it hurts my feelings to hurt their feelings so I’m trying to find a gentler way to go about it, but it is not easyyyy lol

I literally hesitated speaking to my sister about how i feel because i know how she handles being confronted.. she’s someone who doesn’t want criticism on if there’s too much salt in her food she’d rather you just eat it and let her think you like it.. So when she does shit to people she doesn’t want criticism on her behavior either. I knew this about her and she still came at me during my eggshell moment when i laid out nothing but facts she lost her mind literally 💀 Like idk if she’s a narcissist but that crushed her spirit bad and all she kept saying when we were arguing “I’ve been nothing but real to you” after im telling her how her actions make me feel. I don’t want to be around someone I can’t tell it how it is to, that’s a really uncomfortable feeling!!!
We choose our family members in each lifetimes to mirror back to us what we need to heal in ourselves and how we can enhance ourselves. So it's clear that you needed her to behave the way she is in order for your growth and evolution. You cannot tiptoe about someone else's feelings, and if you are the one to trigger her healing at some point, that could easily occur because there was always one chosen one in the family that starts the healing through the ancestral lineage. If the family falls away they are meant to Fall Away, we are not here to stay connected to our families of origin our entire lives..... we're here to find our soul tribes that align with our authenticity and genuineness. Covert narcissism is common but someone who cannot see themselves clearly has not wanted to heal their inner child or do their own shadow work and learn to love and unconditionally accept every part of themselves..... even the imperfect parts.... so they have a ton of healing to do. And we can't let people pull on our balloon strings and hold us back❤ most people are trained not to be direct from childhood especially from our parents..... because they're afraid of withholding or stonewalling or rejection or abandonment. And most people don't know their own sense of self enough because we've been conditioning program by the outside world to run on Old programs that don't belong to us. But once we recognize and create our own sense of self from the ground up in a healthy way, we learn to ask for what we want because we love ourselves. People who cannot do that or just in fear which is the opposite of love. Until they're ready to step out and learn to be vulnerable and do their healing, we can only set the example for them with no attachment to the outcome❤

I had to watch this video again, because it encourages me to keep being truthful. I am going through such a hard time with my business partner who keeps cheating and doing unethical things, even risking us getting in trouble with the IRS.
I'm the only one doing the right thing. He even threatened to remove me from the company because I am too "brutally honest". I feel persecuted for simply doing the right thing and speaking up when he takes things too far.

You totally nailed it Mariah!. I met a guy who said he was things but the words don't match his actions. That was 3 and a half years ago. I love him and he loves me but I'm beginning to realize that every time we've talked about issues that we have he shuts down and walks away gets defensive starts bringing up my problems instead of working on his. I have always asked him what do I need to work on. He always says I don't know I can't think of anything right now. But the second I bring up issues I'm having with him communicating with me about anything he gets mad and defensive. I have recently in this eclipse energy realized this is not going to work because I am talking less to him about anything. I have gone back-and-forth... I love him let's talk about this and work it out. But then he doesn't want to talk about it or work it out. A week and a half ago I told him we were mismatched and we needed to discuss that. He got up walked away and didn't come back 44 hours. Then blamed me that he couldn't sleep. I'm done now. i sometimes feel like everybody's mom. im the youngest in my family and im 33 this year with no kids, but i feel like ive been my own parents, my parents parents sometimes and even for a grandparent and all my friends. im the parent with really strong values that they wont budge on even if it means they are the no fun parent, too serious parent or whatever. for a while it was definitely codependency (walking on egg shells and people pleasing) and now ive been believing in peoples ablity to handle stuff on their own. some of its hard to watch, some of its not. its been a lot of letting people see how the stories in their heads interfere with relationships. 😮💨
