There is a company in Indiana (Stray Light Optical Technologies) that produce LEP or light emitting plasma, that produces sunlight spectrum lighting (5400k @ 270watts). They would run circles around these lights in terms of light quality and efficiency/maitenence savings.
No. That's not true! The reason why we need high mast lighting is so that there is no need for bucket trucks or excessive maintenance. The only thing you need to do is change lamps ever so often!
