Fallen Flags & Awesome Branchline Action - TrainboyGoesTrackside : Episode 3

On April 5th, 2024, the local foamer squad united and shot some trains!
I had managed to catch GTW GP9R number 4619 the day before, so I thought I'd just throw that in the video. Anyways, we managed to catch GWWD RS-23 number 200 headed east on the GWWD line to Shoal Lake! This is my first time EVER shooting a train this far east on their line. I've been shooting the GWWD for TEN years now, and until now, I've only ever seen action on their line as far as the Deacon water treatment plant. We chased the train to the town of Ross before making our way back west.
We caught a southbound CP train with SD70ACu 7058 leading solo! This unit was rebuilt from a UP SD90MAC. KCS 4619 was pushing the rear of the train as it made its way south towards the US border.
Finally, we ran into another cool CN yard set, CN SD40-2W 5258 and EJ&E SD38-2 672!

8:56 when I was railfanning symington that exact locomotive, 5258 caught on fire and I saw it at the distance in symington, ambulance came as I heard crews talking about the fire on scanner

I got stuck at the crossing on Messier & Dawson (possibly the same day) and a guy was walking across the flat deck while it was moving. I copied the dashcam clip to my phone but decided to erase it 😂

GWWD 200 had a killer horn. Do you know what it is? It sounds somewhat similar to a K3H or K3L.
