Bass is to Mega Man like how Shadow is to Sonic.
I love bass, to me he is like the Anti Megaman, sort of like in the classic series.
Wily created Bass similar to megaman but it went wrong and is the reason why bass is like a rebel against wily, helps the old man but hates him...
And Bass is a badass, the OG badass before his little brother Zero took over the badass title.

Hello, I'm aware that this comment is 1 year old. This is like.. An anime adaption of the game called Mega Man made by Capcom that is first released on December 17, 1987. This anime's title is “Rockman Exe Beast” as it's well known as “Rockman” in Japan in the past. I believe Rockman Exe is inspired from the game Mega Man. It's still Mega Man though.
