Yeah I'm trying to play through everything in order, so I haven't played path of fire yet. I wanted the same experience as those who played the game when it was released, without path of fire. So far, I'm very much regretting my decision lol. I want a mount so bad. Tired of doing group events and then when it's time to go to another area of the map for the next event, everyone just spawns their mounts and yeets away while I run behind slow af, trying to catch up lol.
Get pof.. season 4. Get all the mounts especially griffon and sky scale. Then play HOT. It's such a ridiculous expansion. The only thing good was the specializations.
For anyone reading this comment now: no, they patched this out a while ago after the backlash and it's still not required. Unfortunately, in typical ArenaNet fashion they did the bare minimum, so the previous mission will still tell you to unlock it before continuing. Just go to the Tangled Depths anyway and you'll be able to do the next step.
This first HOT area is just an absolute nightmare. I just can’t get past it.
Why is it so annoying to get masteries? As a new player its really frustrating especially on such a vertical map with no access to gliding/flying.

2024 and you need itzel Potion masterie for episode 12 i think, wich is itzel masterie 4 when Im only on 1
