    Fabulous video. Love the VC-10, brings back many childhood memories for me. I also loved the tail camera aspect (little to no fisheye) so you get the true shape of the aircraft. Loved it!

    Fantastic model, great video .. while I was living in Sydney Au. from the late 1960's to the early 1970's, I had a good view of the aircraft flying in and out of Sydney Airport, the VC10 was always my fav plane.

    Nice RC. The VC10 was inarguably the aircraft that carried the T tail design best of all. Most beautiful T tail, EVER...!!!

    Really cool video. I like how in flight you can see the wings flexing from the camera view. Working baskets were a great touch.
    I was expecting at the end for the thrust reveres to work, since it looked like the cutouts were there. ^__^ nice flying.

      That's what I thought, too. Of course, they would have to make a model with a cockpit, for it seems that, on this one, the cockpit windows seem to be painted on the fuselage.

      Really? It doesn't look realistic in flight .
      It's too wobbly and it responds to the input from the controller much too sharply to be real

      Most modern transmitters, and surely the multi thousand dollar one this pilot is probably using, have a a feature that allows for a "delay" in servo movement. Such delays are beneficial for a scale reaction time to control inputs, but this could be dangerous for some aircraft where immediate response is required, such as for this aircraft at low speeds. You can't do much about the wobbles in the air, maybe a gyro, but you will still see some wobble.

  • @lawrenceharvey6709
    @lawrenceharvey6709 Před 7 lety +1

    I play RC
    It is wobly due to the winds I think . Nontheless I think the pilot should have slowed down the speed to make it looks real

    The model is beautiful, but it is very apparent it is not cross-longitudinally balanced. Constant roll inputs required to keep stable. Very apparent in the final approach when it enters an obvious Dutch rolling tendency.
    The engineers behind this model should look past this as an insult, and put the effort in to simply balance the model correctly. This could be the best flying large scale model yet. Will have to work hard to compete with the 2010 C-17 Globemaster (19 ft wingspan).
