@asaadkhalid4776 we would take a good look at the packaging and after we would get the package we would check for : tape being ripped off and re taped, damaged packaging on the outside or damaged product (we did this for most of the cloths), and also we would check for stains such as discharge, period blood or other body fluids, if it didn't meet our infection prevention and control protocol then it would be thrown away! I'm actually really glad to see someone who confidentaly speaks about wearing thrift store clothes or inherited clothes because I grew up wearing them too. I wasn't ashamed and I didn't care at all about it actually untill one day when my teacher in middle school was talking about something in class and in one moment mentioned that there are "very very poor people who even buy clothes from thrift stores" and since then I was feeling very insecure about it. PSA thrift stores (at least the reputable ones) don't sell used underwear. Sometimes they have items that don't sell well at regular stores that still have tags/packaging.
