I started out in the 70s Racing a "Bultaco" flat-tracker -Then I got into Motocross I was into the Yamaha's 250cc-Class..Then went to the streets got my first Harley-Davidson 1200cc..The Ultimate Rush if you like to Race Dirt Tracks..The "Honda Elsinore" was a great machine and the Suzuki RM-400cc was a real beast on the dirt..In 1972 Kawasaki came out with a 750 cc street bike 2-stroke very Rare and fast..🏍🤾♂️🏍🤾♂️🏍🤾♂️👉🏻💪=Big-💰
When Racing I was always experimenting by changing the carburetor Jets the leaner the faster it would go..One time I guess I went a little too lean and shattered the piston in a million pieces had to take the top end off replace the Piston the Rings luckily the cylinder sleeve was not damaged clean everything up before the next race..Didn't have my own mechanic back in the 70's I did everything myself..Once you get a sponsor you ride their dirt bike and they pay for everything I know guys that were making $60,000 a year in 1975.👉🏻🏍💨🤳At 17 &18 Years old..👉🏻💰💰💰@@DailyDoseOfEthernet
Before I got disabled. I was 14 Years old and I had a 1989 CR 125 I My cousin bought from a Moto cross racer and it was built and jetted to run 50 to 1 fuel instead of 32 to 1 fuel ratio the place we rode at had some nice little doubles nothing to big that CR had power to pic the front tire up in 5th gear. I cooked My piston rings at the complete other end of the track and had to push blew up bike half mile to the truck but those bikes are very fun I had fun on that one and wish I still had it and have not seen one of those in a while. Nice bike thanks for video ride safe
Carson up here snatching up all the sweet old bikes in the northwest. I’ve got a beat up old YZ air hammer I should donate him he loves the vintage stuff.
I had a 92 CR125R. It was bad ass!! It was my first 2 stroke. All my other bikes were slow 4 strokes lol. But I learned quick what the 2 stroke was all about. It took me a while after that to get used to it. But I'd rather have a 2 stroke than a 4 stroke any day. And I love that powerband sound
the sound is nice, but the problems are endless, i have a 50cc 2 stroke supermoto for about 2 months, i didnt drive it as much as it stayed at the mechanic
@ali3173 yeah the cons about 2 strokes is you have to maintain them way more than a 4 stroke. But nothing beats the sound of a 2 stroke. Even the new 4 strokes just don't have that brappp sound lol
@itsfcknjoebobsonupinthisbtch pretty much everything. Not a fair comparison because the zoom is 4 years newer. The 98 RM 125 was more powerful and way better suspension. It was also a little more stable at high speeds than the Honda. In 98 I think the RM was the second best 125. The YZ 125 one all the shootouts for several years starting in 96.
Carson u should take one of ur old bikes and spray paint the plastics all black let it sit out in the sun till paint dries and looks terrible then go to a local race and wear holy jeans and white shirt with no helmet visor and some safety glasses lol just shred snd smoke everyone be a epic video was buddys idea when we use to race but never got to do it ! ?
Grew up on a 93 cr125 and that sounds will never get old.
Did bikes always need so much maintenance?
Indeed. That
Sound is the best. Time. For all us 2 strokers. To let out some smoke

Россияя супер
Just sold my 1994 cr125. After owning over 25 bikes this was my favorite, hands down!
Hdgzzs😮😮
I had the 93 model. It was very powerful midrange to the top. The bike was indestructible, I'm sure it's still out there running today.
My 94 would hit power super hard for a 125. It ended up being stolen and then recovered and it was never right since. Now I’m on an 07 raptor 700.
@@the-hog6720going from a two stroke dirtbike to a four stroke quad is like being a transgender

Love the little 125s. Back in the day, they turned the fastest lap times, at our local track. Circa 1980ish.

So sharp. The welded exhaust pipe should be in an art museum somewhere.
Absolutely gorgeous
I had a 1993 CR 250 a few years back. Rebuilt from
the ground up, awesome machine.
I have a 94 the crank recently seized on me she’s gonna be back better than ever soon
I miss my 94 a lot. It was my 2nd bike. First I had a 1980 Cr80. I loved both but I really like my raptor 700.

Nice. I bought a 1974 brand new. It cost $680.00 out the door. I still have the owners manual somewhere. Thanks for sharing
🔥🔥
I had one of these. Well built machines. My 98 RM 125 with conventional forks was my favorite 125 though.

4 years later came that fat aluminum frame.
But I will the the '95 with the purple shroud and seat was pretty sick
Such a beautiful place
Damn, that SOUNDS angry! Crisp and clean sound too though. And looks wise,it's awesome! Clean as hell
