Yes! Liliac- the rock kids of Romania! The first thing I heard was the cover of Enter sandman- they were very young and very skilled- I was blown away. Recently they did Master of puppets and their own songs are fire too! Melody is fantastic and so are the others!

Welcome you just discovered the best family band of all time this is there early days on the Santa Monica pier where they played every weekend for years. Everything they do covers and original material are phenomenal. They have 2 albums of new material Queen of Hearts and Chain of Thorns. They were recently asked by Wendy Dio To do The Last in line for Ronnie James Dio Cancer Fundraiser and Vinny Appici Dios former drummer gave them an unreleased version for fundraiser. They also just did a big concert Rocklohoma where they drew large crowds they are an amazing live band I just saw them in Harrisburg PA.
They dropped out of Americas Got Talent because they wanted them to sign a contract that would have given the show most their money over the first five years. They refer to their style of music as Vamp Metal. Anything from them is great!!!
I was the same way. Heard their Dio- Holy Diver cover and said no way is this real! I was shocked! I dug deeper and glad I did. A Patreon for them now, as they are carrying on the Flag of Rock N Roll. Would love a weekend series- would be cool. I thought 80's Metal was gone but Liliac is now carrying the torch. Ecstatic what Liliac is bringing to the table. They truly embrace their Fans as we embrace and support them. Fang4life. Btw- subbed my man- rock on. Welcome to the world of Liliac! Liliac is a band of 5 brothers and sisters that have been playing together for several years. Sam (lead guitar) is 22, Abigail (drums) is 21, Melody (lead vocals and sometimes bass) is 19, Ethan (bass and rhythm guitar) is 15, and Justin (keyboard and soon to add rhythm guitar) is 13. The Cristea family was from Los Angeles but last year moved to Georgia. The father Florin Cristea, and mother Nineta, were both originally from Romania. Both their families moved to the United States when the two were children. They met in the US and were married and began their family thereafter. The word Liliac is Romanian for Bat. When you get a reactor that has never heard of "your" band it is so much easier to fill them in this way then wear out your fingers typing the same info....

You have been FANGED!!!. They have two albums of originals. There parents are from Romania. There dad grew up about 75 miles from Transylvania. (VAMP)metal. Melody is about 15 yo here. "Wild Thing" is there first CZcams video as Liliac. They appeared on Worlds best(CBS) show. Yes they did Americas Got Talent. They dropped out after they would have had to sign a contract giveing(whom ever some control of the group). They do it all themselves. There Dad is a pruducer.
The best thing I can tell you to do is just go to their Liliac CZcams channel and just start working your way thru their videos. They just released a new original about a month ago now called "Dear Father" and you'll be able to see how far they've come in the last 5 years or so since this Crazy Train video.
Liliac Fang in the house! I just subscribed. Tim Nye pretty much said it all but I'll add my 2 cents anyway. The band Skillet opened for them once and then they got to hang out with John Cooper the lead vocalist of Skillet. Then Lzzy Hale from Halestorm commented on their Ronnie James Dio Cancer Fund Tribute The Last in Line, she was impressed and allowed Melody to interview her on Hangin' and Bangin' where she was a guest host replacing Vinny Appice for an episode. Vinny Appice, Dio's former drummer called Melody a reincarnated female Ronnie James Dio and nicknamed her Melodio. KISS also invited them on the KISS KRUISE for a 2nd time. Liliac are such humble and nice people too, the whole family. Also they really appreciate their Fans/Fangs and regularly shout them out on social media platforms.
Welcome to Liliac! “Crazy Train” was my first also. Such a fun vid on the Santa Monica Pier. Papa Liliac is def their biggest supporter being their manager as well. They are fully independent. It’s a treat seeing people experience Liliac for the first time. The typical response is similar to yours, “mind blown”. They keep get’n better. Welcome to Liliacverse! Believe it or not, this is younger Liliac. Can usually tell by Justin on Keys look and Melody on bass. If you decide to do a weekend, it would be cool to do it young to now. If you love live, they did the trooper and Rainbow in the Dark on the CBS show World's Best. Of course If you want full versions they have the studio ones. Plus their original live Mars after they started to transition Ethan to bass. They do awesome covers and Fantastic originals. Gotta check out the Dio Cancer Fund tribute, Last in Line. Liliac is an completely independent band by choice because they wanted to keep their proceeds and creative freedom by not being signed to a label, though AGT and others have offered, mainly fan funded and donations and sponsors, also they do not have their own recording studio, they are working on getting one built in their house once they have the funds though.
I dont think most people can understand how much us 50 year olds love our metal music. And then somehow we stumble upon Liliac and most of us react just like this. This video is absolutely amazing of them on the peer. I just discovered them about 10 days ago. Check out their originals if you havent, there are some seriously kick ass tunes on there. They are not this young anymore. I agree with you on Sam(lead guitarists hair( but he freaking cut it recently.... i almost died he looked so bad ass. I absolutely love this band. I live in Ca and am considering flying out to Colorado to see them this Summer... thats how much I love these kids.
You liked it(obviously)! My suggestion is this. This video is old at least 3 years. If you want the full experience start with their early covers like this. I recommend Rainbow in the Dark. How Melody (yes that's really her name) learned to sing rock was by studying Ronnie James Dio. So anything Dio from them is special. Their best cover is Last in Line, but do it right, watch them grow as a band. They are way better than this now, just saying. And before someone comes in here calling them a cover band, they have an ep Chain of Thorns (2019) and a full album Queen if Hearts (2020). They're currently touring and played the Rocklohoma Music Festival just 2 days ago. It's ok if you want to marathon them but I'd take the time to appreciate their journey myself

Their first I saw too, back in 2017. I felt the same shock and immediately searched for the rest that had been released at that time. Have seen this reaction of yours at least ten times, just need my daily dose of LILIAC reactions.

What's cool about this video is they were on the pier just trying to get their name out there and they had a crowd develop. They were pretty much an overnight sensation. They're all siblings and they call the metal they play Vampire Metal. Their dad is their music producer.
This was the first song of theirs I heard about 3 days ago, I love this song, back when I was a late teen a few mates were playing guitar and this was what they would play, one of them would solo the entire lead ( he was also 100% blind, yep zero vision!!) Another has now passed, so Crazy Train is very close to my heart. And no I am suddenly a massive Liliac fan, her voice is almost like a mad scientist spliced Dio's and Janice Joplin gene's together to create something amazing. The more I listen to them the more awesome they are, they've just gotten better and better (and the hair, longer and longer...) A truly great band who will take on the world and the world will bow down before them. Rock On and Rock Hard
May I make a suggestion for the wife:"Sail Away" an original of their's is a great Rock Ballad. It really depends on which direction you want to go in. I see your Metallica poster so if you want to go in that direction first then they do "Enter The Sandman" they are younger in that one, they do "Symphony Of Distruction" and "Master Of Puppets" both came out not to long ago.
For some originals like every one has said "Mars" live in Cummings GA (Georgia) is a fantastic way to see them live it's an original song. You may also want to check out "Dancing In The Dark" "Chain Of Thorns", "We Are The Children" "Mystery" really any. Cover or original you choose will NOT disappoint!!!! They do "Joan Jetts "Hate Myself For Loving You (cover) and the list goes on with both.
If you love Dio you NEED to check Liliac doing "Last in Line" for the "Dio Cancer Fund". It was requested they do it by Wendy Dio and Vinny Appice specifically for the Benefit

Busking on the pier is where they got recognized by Stewart Copeland. Look up that video on their channel. This is also where Johnny Coffin started as a sponsor for them. These kids are unbelievable. This is only one of several covers they have done they’ve got one with Ronnie James Dio holy diver which I totally recommend they’ve crushed every cover I’ve ever seen of them. Their original music isn’t bad either. These kids are going places
Thanks for your reaction. Only correction is that Liliac just means bat in Romanian, not vampire bat (it also means a flower as well). My wife is also Romanian and I've verified this several times with her (and her sister as well). Have a good one sir.
The parents of the band members are also from Romania and met here. You havn't heard anything yet. Listen to their cover of Dio's Holy Diver to see what Melody really can do. I chronological order there is Samuel on Guitar, Abigail on drums, Melody on guitar and lead singer, Ethan on bass guitar and Justin on keyboard. They are all siblings.
They do covers of most of the best hard rock songs. They also have a few albums/Singles of their own. Holy Diver, Raibows in the Dark, Paranoid, Enter The Sandman, I Hate Myself for Loving You just to name a few. Their own compilations include We Are the Children and Sail Away.
So on the 7th day God rested, but on the 8th day God created LILIAC and saw that His creation was very very good (so it was, the beginning of Vamp Metal). Then God blessed LILIAC and chose them as the Metal Band to conquer the world! Genesis 1:31½

Welcome to the world of Liliac! Liliac is a band of 5 brothers and sisters that have been playing together for several years. Sam (lead guitar) is 22, Abigail (drums) is 21, Melody (lead vocals and sometimes bass) is 19, Ethan (bass and rhythm guitar) is 15, and Justin (keyboard and soon to add rhythm guitar) is 13. The Cristea family was from Los Angeles but last year moved to Georgia. The father Florin Cristea, and mother Nineta, were both originally from Romania. Both their families moved to the United States when the two were children. They met in the US and were married and began their family thereafter.
The word Liliac is Romanian for Bat.
They began as the Cristeas when Sam was about 13 or 14 years old. At that time, it was just Sam, Abigail, and Melody, as the two boys were really too young. They did covers.

Living in Downey, California the band honed their skills playing on the Santa Monica Pier every weekend for several years. As they gained their confidence and stage presence, the crowds grew bigger and bigger until the police had to have them stop because the crowds were getting too big.

When you get a reactor that has never heard of "your" band it is so much easier to fill them in this way then wear out your fingers typing the same info....

They dropped out after they would have had to sign a contract giveing(whom ever some control of the group).

The best thing I can tell you to do is just go to their Liliac CZcams channel and just start working your way thru their videos. They just released a new original about a month ago now called "Dear Father" and you'll be able to see how far they've come in the last 5 years or so since this Crazy Train video.
You just know Randy Rhodes is looking down smiling and thinking that the future of rock is in good hands.

Liliac Fang in the house! I just subscribed. Tim Nye pretty much said it all but I'll add my 2 cents anyway. The band Skillet opened for them once and then they got to hang out with John Cooper the lead vocalist of Skillet. Then Lzzy Hale from Halestorm commented on their Ronnie James Dio Cancer Fund Tribute The Last in Line, she was impressed and allowed Melody to interview her on Hangin' and Bangin' where she was a guest host replacing Vinny Appice for an episode. Vinny Appice, Dio's former drummer called Melody a reincarnated female Ronnie James Dio and nicknamed her Melodio. KISS also invited them on the KISS KRUISE for a 2nd time. Liliac are such humble and nice people too, the whole family. Also they really appreciate their Fans/Fangs and regularly shout them out on social media platforms.
Welcome to Liliac! “Crazy Train” was my first also. Such a fun vid on the Santa Monica Pier. Papa Liliac is def their biggest supporter being their manager as well. They are fully independent.
It’s a treat seeing people experience Liliac for the first time. The typical response is similar to yours, “mind blown”. They keep get’n better. They have such a “luxurious” (thanks Venice Magic, I’m using your term) sound to them.
Of note, the vid you watched was not an official Liliac video. In the future look for Liliac’s posted videos and not a reposted version such as this.

Welcome to Liliacverse! Believe it or not, this is younger Liliac. Can usually tell by Justin on Keys look and Melody on bass. If you decide to do a weekend, it would be cool to do it young to now. If you love live, they did the trooper and Rainbow in the Dark on the CBS show World's Best. Of course If you want full versions they have the studio ones. Plus their original live Mars after they started to transition Ethan to bass. They do awesome covers and Fantastic originals. Gotta check out the Dio Cancer Fund tribute, Last in Line. Liliac is an completely independent band by choice because they wanted to keep their proceeds and creative freedom by not being signed to a label, though AGT and others have offered, mainly fan funded and donations and sponsors, also they do not have their own recording studio, they are working on getting one built in their house once they have the funds though.
I dont think most people can understand how much us 50 year olds love our metal music. And then somehow we stumble upon Liliac and most of us react just like this. This video is absolutely amazing of them on the peer. I just discovered them about 10 days ago. Check out their originals if you havent, there are some seriously kick ass tunes on there. They are not this young anymore. I agree with you on Sam(lead guitarists hair( but he freaking cut it recently.... i almost died he looked so bad ass. I absolutely love this band. I live in Ca and am considering flying out to Colorado to see them this Summer... thats how much I love these kids.
You liked it(obviously)! My suggestion is this. This video is old at least 3 years. If you want the full experience start with their early covers like this. I recommend Rainbow in the Dark. How Melody (yes that's really her name) learned to sing rock was by studying Ronnie James Dio. So anything Dio from them is special. Their best cover is Last in Line, but do it right, watch them grow as a band. They are way better than this now, just saying. And before someone comes in here calling them a cover band, they have an ep Chain of Thorns (2019) and a full album Queen if Hearts (2020). They're currently touring and played the Rocklohoma Music Festival just 2 days ago. It's ok if you want to marathon them but I'd take the time to appreciate their journey myself

What's cool about this video is they were on the pier just trying to get their name out there and they had a crowd develop. They were pretty much an overnight sensation. They're all siblings and they call the metal they play Vampire Metal. Their dad is their music producer.

This was the first song of theirs I heard about 3 days ago, I love this song, back when I was a late teen a few mates were playing guitar and this was what they would play, one of them would solo the entire lead ( he was also 100% blind, yep zero vision!!) Another has now passed, so Crazy Train is very close to my heart. And no I am suddenly a massive Liliac fan, her voice is almost like a mad scientist spliced Dio's and Janice Joplin gene's together to create something amazing. The more I listen to them the more awesome they are, they've just gotten better and better (and the hair, longer and longer...) A truly great band who will take on the world and the world will bow down before them.

May I make a suggestion for the wife:"Sail Away" an original of their's is a great Rock Ballad. It really depends on which direction you want to go in. I see your Metallica poster so if you want to go in that direction first then they do "Enter The Sandman" they are younger in that one, they do "Symphony Of Distruction" and "Master Of Puppets" both came out not to long ago.
For some originals like every one has said "Mars" live in Cummings GA (Georgia) is a fantastic way to see them live it's an original song. You may also want to check out "Dancing In The Dark" "Chain Of Thorns", "We Are The Children" "Mystery" really any. Cover or original you choose will NOT disappoint!!!! They do "Joan Jetts "Hate Myself For Loving You (cover) and the list goes on with both.

The parents of the band members are also from Romania and met here. You havn't heard anything yet. Listen to their cover of Dio's Holy Diver to see what Melody really can do. I chronological order there is Samuel on Guitar, Abigail on drums, Melody on guitar and lead singer, Ethan on bass guitar and Justin on keyboard. They are all siblings.
Natural reaction to talent and hard work
They do covers of most of the best hard rock songs. They also have a few albums/Singles of their own. Holy Diver, Raibows in the Dark, Paranoid, Enter The Sandman, I Hate Myself for Loving You just to name a few. Their own compilations include We Are the Children and Sail Away.
