It is by far the best leader figure that we’ve gotten in Legacy so far, but Laser Optimus is at least in second for me. Hasbro have definitely done wonders for this version of BW Megs by other in size and plastic use, though it has its ups and downs. A definite buy for me!

A little tip for the head security so it doesn't move,if you look at the sides of the plate the head sits on,it has notches on the sides,and one side of the torso has a spot one notch slides into

I just got this guy, can be a bit finnicky to work with at times, but I still love him. I got so excited when they announced him since he was one of my earliest transformers I ever owned.
I did modify mine a bit, mainly switching around the horns on his wings, since they are actually backwards. Not something I can easily recommend doing though.

Honestly I can’t wait for this iteration of Megs honestly I loved this figure when it first debuted in season 3 of Beast Wars, I never owned the original when it first came out but always wanted him, I can’t wait to pick him up

Amazing figure.. Although I'm not into beast wars, I must admit this is a fantastic looking figure especially the 🐲 dragon mode... Will definitely pick this up for a good price. Great review Chef!

He seems smaller than the season one Trex Megatron in robot mode but it’s still a badass version of the best beast wars Megatron. It’s crazy how much change he went through when he merged his spark with the g1 Megatron and the time in the hot lava modified him into a red dragon. Guess Megs owes one to tarantulas and his treachery for his new red dragon mode

9:31 ha when you said ponytails it reminds of kung lao from mortal kombat, in mortal kombat x that was the first that kung lao had a brag braided ponytail in one of the games so that's what reminds of this figure it also has a long raided ponytail

Really looking forward to this figure. Hope they paint it green for "Shattered Glass". They probably will make it blue for Cryotek, which hopefully is NOT SG. Dragon is a great alt mode for Megs.

My only gripe is that a lot of the subtle cues in this figure come straight from Transmetals 1 Megatron, and they skipped that one. A double shame too because of it's suffering from GPS

They stopped using vac-metal when they realized the health effects that the process had on factory workers (and the lawsuits that would follow). I wouldn't hold my breath for a chrome-sealed version of this guy.

I don't like the way the Dragon's neck connects to the body. The body is too squarish and the beggining of the neck looks unnatural and disjointed
