Thanks To This Video I Faded My Own Hair For The First Time & Did A Good Job. Thanks 💪🏾💯 Quarantine Cuts 😂
😂
Quarantine cuts about to be a new tag lol
czcams.com/video/tvt0cQNCo4M/video.html
Cutting your own hair saves you money and time. I started some years ago and now I finally got it to where its perfect. Holding the mirror with one hand is the hardest part. I think I'm going to invest in the selfcut system mirrors just to get that part out of the way. But to anyone out there who reads this, YOU CAN DO IT. Take your time. You can start with holding a mirror like Him. Also, start with the Wahl Color Pros at Walmart or if you have some money you can buy the Sally's Andis Envy combo or Wahl combo with the peanut trimmer.
It feels great when you get it down because anytime I need a haircut all I need is 1 hour and I'm groomed!
100% FACTS 👌👌👌
David Ortiz same here. I’m 30 and I’ve been fading myself since middle school. Thousands saved.
How long did it take to get it down
But you'll have to go the barber once the top gets too long right? Assuming that you don't have waves or curls.
Accurate

Take the guide line out in the back and use a straight razor on your corners to make your line up cleaner and popping out
💯
How do you take the guide line out the back?
great video, bro. You are definitely gonna get me through the corona era. I will probably keep this up, even afterwards. I've watched a lot of videos..but this is the first one that gave me a lil confidence...thorough explanation.
That's wassup bro...it definitely takes practice and patience...but it is possible! Save you some money in the long run!
This was a great tutorial bro. I haven’t been comfortable enough to try fading my hair but this walk through helped me from start to finish. Im pleased on how it came out. More confident to do it again. Thanks for your help!! 🙏🏾
Glad it helped!
I've been fade cutting my hair for about a year now, and I learned by watching videos like this. Really good job...Fade Masters clippers are better though....
gonna have to try this. this haircut is dope, keep up the good work!!
Man, thank you for sharing this tutorial! It really helped me out!
Might've been the best tutorial I've ever seen. Great shit gz
Here because of quarantine lol. But it’s been a journey and thanks to vids like this I’m getting there. Never would’ve thought it was possible. Great cut man, needed this.
Quarantine turning everyone into self barbers lol
czcams.com/video/tvt0cQNCo4M/video.html
Wow great advice it was quick and straight to the point and explained very well good job man 🔥🔥
I like the video man! Great work bro.
Salute good cut you most def got the technique for the drop fade....I remember watching your line up vids vids years ago and to see you now drop fading your hair is major.... just like you I refuse to pay someone to do something they learned to do on me; shit with time and patience you can do it to... I’ve been watching 360jeezy’s page on drop fade tutorials (sun can cutt) and it’s been working out good for me I love the fact I can style and cut my own hair (money saver).. salute you for posting the cut of course your gonna receive feedback and my only feedback would be before you use the 0 guard lever closed on the second line use the 1 guard lever closed on the second line to soften it up (it won’t make it disappear just yet) then proceed with the 0 guard closed...now after you hit the line with 0 guard lever closed go no guard lever open on that same line (2nd line) this will give your fade a super clean blended look.... no 1st guide line should be visible after you use the 1 guard closed, 0 guard closed, and no guard lever open.... no disrespect meant bro the cut was clean but it can mos def look super clean.... salute you two times.....
Appreciate the feedback and support bro! 💯
That cut clean! I've been cutting my hair for about 2 years now and you were the 1st cut video I watched. Been subscribed ever since, you broke it down so basic to where I had the courage to give it a go and have come a long ways.
About how long does that cut take in real time?
That's wassup. Im glad to hear that!
Nice work fam!
This is a good video. The commentary points were very good. Personally I prefer to go one guideline at a time. First guideline after zero open, knock it out. Second guideline after one open, soften the second line with the one close then knock it out with the zero close. With top being two, I found that there was a third guideline between the two on top and the top of the one open. Almost invisible to the naked eye. It takes patience to improvise through it and blend it all out. I once tried running multiple guidelines without knocking them out and I got lost and worse, I was knocking out multiple guidelines with the wrong guard. It was a nightmare. Since that day, it’s one at a time for me. Just finished a trial drop fade and I like what I’ve come up with. I can see what I did wrong too and practice will only make me better. Thanks for such a good video.
appreciate the feedback! I'll have to give your tips a try. God bless.
This was good thanks! Ima try it out
Cut is fire, good stuff.
I like to keep my hair short making fades kind of hard. You recommend any specific guards like .5 or something like that?
Drop fade is dope Bro..nice work
Good cut man looks clean & not an easy cut at all! I learned a few tricks. Only thing I’d say is line up wasn’t as sharp on the right
Good tutorial...Thanks for sharing!
After watching a lady giving her son a fade on CZcams which gave me the nudge to cut my own hair, your video has definitely been the most straight forward that I've seen in explaining how to do a fade. Thanks man.
No doubt bro...it takes time and patience, but its not impossible!
@@CEONTHEMAKING imma be watching this video for next week when I cut my hair again.
Dope cut bro. Excellent!
Preciate it bro
Looks good I'm following this video thanks
Bro real talk u help a lot keep up the good work
This was definitely a nice haircut my man.. keep up the good work...
Appreciate it!
@@CEONTHEMAKING no problem my man...
For a do it yourself self this is dope despite any faults. Theres no way Im fading myself and risk cuttin my waves 😂 good work bruh
hah thanks man. it took me a while before i had enough courage to try anything more than an all-even cut.
@@CEONTHEMAKING on point keep droopin them vids
GREAT VIDEO, BROTHER.
Left side = perfect
Right side = hard to see the end product clearly
Back = guide line still visible
Articulation/explanations = PERFECT
very very good and helpful video.
Nice video on drop fade
Nice!!
Did you go to barber school or are you self taught?
I am currently self-taught but would actually like to attend barber classes possibly, if need be. I am new at this. I cut my husband and both of my little boys hair. Thankfully, with the help of video's like this from you and so many others, I have really improved.
Thank you!
I'm self taught...just me practicing over the years. Good luck with your journey!
Just take your time and flick out the lines. It's all about wrist motion. As you go through each level use the corners of the clippers to blend the lines by flicking it out. Doing it by yourself takes time but also the lighting has to be right. The stronger the light the better. Also after you shower look at it again and you can touch it up.
Fast feeds are nice
Is there anything I can use in replacement of a 0 gaurd because I don't have one right now
You lit bro 🔥
Thanks for this bro 🔥 #Quarantine2020
Good work bro
Thanks Bro
👍 Great video
Thanks!
What lever is your clippers on to get the initial guideline out? That seems to be the most challenging for me
If you use trimmer to set your first lineguide, after use your clipper on .5 guide (or level open) u can use your trimmer at the final line(be careful, use the corners of the trimmer)
Great tutorial. Waves on point, fade is blurry, lines is crisp af. Fuck it, im gonna buy those blue fast feeds. My regular maroon one can be a back up. I recommend the andis profoil shaver if u want a complete close shave after balding out.
Thanks man! I recommend the ceramic blade for the fast feeds if you don't already have it.
bro u did good, I think it's your tone of voice, like I didn't even really watch it, I just listened while I did my fade, and after I got thru all i could say was "he did good, real good"
Hah preciate that bro!
Articulation was DEFINITELY on point
lmao @ those peanutts remind of when i first started cutting i had a pair of those with a set of the wahl color clipper back in 2008
lol
please make another one during the corona season
Practice makes perfect.
good video
great job
Thanks bro!
Yo! We go the same hair textures how often do you cut your hair fam? Dope vid FYI
typically every 2 weeks or so...or whenever i get around to it lol.
I know I'm 2 years late....
But do you use any hair grease?
...Or what kind of product do you use for your hair after a haircut???
What can be used in place of a 0 gaurd? My clippers don't have it.
In would just buy a 0 guard. should be able to get one separately.
When you use the white clippers in the beginning. If I don’t have those is it equivalent to no guard lever open on a pair of clippers? Or like using the one for lining up?
they're just trimmers...any trimmers will be fine.
If I don’t have trimmers could I just use clippers with no guard closed? Would it get the same result
you can but it won't cut quite as close
CEONTHEMAKING ok thanks
Nice
Thts tight. I need to wrk on my Steady hand💯💯
Practice Practice Practice
@@CEONTHEMAKING Aye bro what kind of Clippers are best?
Man, I've been searching for the right video so I can try and cut my hair and this is by far the best one. Thanks! Gonna give it a try. Quarantine cuts, woohoo!
Low or mid drop fade ?
my clippers dont have the open or closed lever
Yo thank you so much for making this video man, I watched it like 5 times this morning tryna study it lol. All the shops is closed so I had to cut myself and I found this video and the cut came out great. Thanks man, I might have just developed a new skill
💪💪💪
the thumbnail stretcheeedddd bros head lolol
do i need multiple guards for this cut?
Yesir

You should get a trifold mirror, saves so much time.
Good job
Thanks bro!
@@CEONTHEMAKING you welcome..
10th viewing of your video. I just purchased the dual magnet purple guards for my Cordless Andis Masters from off of amazon.
You in the game! You got some trimmers already?
@@CEONTHEMAKING Yes, I bought me the cordless Andis Masters. It's brand new. Seemed you preferred the Corded Andis Masters over the Wahl magic clipper based on one of your reviews that I watched. This definitely moved me to go Andis, and sure enough the cordless masters was just released and I was able to get myself one of them for $275 bucks.
Man, I appreciate videos like this especially when you are cutting your own hair. I support all my professional barbers and understand you have to make a living as well. I just don't understand the pricing, $25 for a haircut and an additional $10 for the beard.
Plus tip cuz then you an A hole. I just cut my own hair yesterday came out decent. Will keep practicing
I need to start brushing
What if you don’t have a 0 guard ??
depends on what clippers you have. you can probably buy one for few dollars
I cut my hair every other week and come back to this video to follow step by step 😂
😂 you the 🐐
Is there a mirror I could buy and prop up to see the back of my head while I cut?
Look into a self cut system...kinda pricey but may be worth it if you're a beginner
@@CEONTHEMAKING you could diy one for cheap and easy.. Cost me $30 to make one with led lights at Walmart
👀💪👍👍👍
Shaun Livingston
I'm thinking Channing Frye
Good work for not being a barber brEh 👍
I still don’t get the difference between no guard and 0 guard??????
no guard with the lever open is close to a 0 guard with the lever closed... but yea there's a difference depending on how you adjust the lever
Ice jj fish after the fame
That's my cousin
CEONTHEMAKING put that on something
Ice jj fish
I have hard time with the guidelines on one side
I got a video coming soon for that
You look like DJ Pooh the dude on Friday who got his bike stolen by Deebo
Nice video Homie. Are you using the double magnet guards? I heard the single magnet ones are trash. #360biggie Check me out!!!
yesir...double magnetic
Bru u made a drop look easy. In Tuscaloosa Al these barbers can't do a drop for shit and I pay $30 a cut to fuck me up. Really never satisfied 🤔
Thanks bro...took me a little while before i was able to do this type of cut. But its possible!
Your bald guide line was still showing in the back.
charles c Appreciate the feedback my brotha.
Wear lol 🤦♂️
Wow, did you REALLY need to tell him that???!
@@delightedbyu1 only way to get better
Marlon Wayans
Why this guy head shaped like a airpod
You think you could do it on someone else?
easily... cutting my own is harder
I want to try this so bad, but I know my lazy-eyed @$$ would have no symmetry....
I don’t have a 0 guard I’ve only got a 1 🙄
you gotta buy one bro lol
CEONTHEMAKING ima just use a 1 guard closed it’s the same thing
Did you mess up a lot,I am scared because I wear glasses
I hate to say but theres probably going to be a lot of barbers and beauticians out of buisness after all of this..
Sad truth
Why do people do that ugly straight line on the top of their head? Looks awful lol
