SubhanAllah this is such a powerful, educational and beautiful discussion! There is a saying that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. Today, almost 4 years after posting, this video has come into my view with potentially life altering consequences. I pray for the ability to hear and obey. I've learned so much and my heart is inspired. JazakAllah Khairun.

The Members of the NOI today in 2024 are making salat and fasting in the month of Ramadan. I have witnessed the Jumah services and the lecture's to the African American community for being black and conscious of self and social responsibility.

THEY STILL BELIEVE FARD IS ALLĀH IN THE PERSON, AND ELIJAH MUHAMMAD IS A MESSENGER OF ALLĀH, AND THAT THE BLACKMAN IS GOD. IN AL-ISLAM, WE BELIEVE THERE'S NO GOD BUT GOD. HOW CAN YOU BE GOD AND MUSLIM AT THE SAME TIME? A MUSLIM IS ONE WHO SUBMIT HIS WILL TO ALLĀH {GOD}. SO IF YOU GOD, WHO YOU SUBMITTING YOUR WILL TO?

when people who don’t know Imam Mohammed’s language hear it for the first time, snd even some of us, who know it, we do what the brother did, after the Imam said the woman was the guardian of the sanctuary of life. mmmm, hits deep.

    17:00 Allah Akbar 😍😍😍
20:00 awww, I wish I had the same imam for 40 years
25:10 ... did Elijah Mohamed ever go back on saying he was a *prophet* ?
Around 38:00 I think I understand better why the culture loved Elijah. And I see a blueprint on how to organize and elevate any disenfranchised community in modern days. **This plus sound theological foundation** gave birth to the beautiful Muslim community in the USA ❤
50:00 mind blown! Make boycott great and sunnah again? 😂 and it s so true Dr Nasir if we embodied the true teaching of our Prophet Muhammad PBUH, nobody would want to leave the community.
This was such a fantastic conversation ❤
Thank you so so so much for sharing this. I feel enlightened and I have received such great knowledge. May Allah reward you both for your contribution 🤗

As Salaam Alaikum! Thank you for this interview. I know Dr. Nasir and I love him for the sake of ALLAH and appreciation his many decades of work in helping to establish Al-Islam in this country. To Dr. Nasir I say, “Thank you for your service.”My family on my Mother’s side had membership in the Nation of Islam going back as far as 1957. My Mother’s Mother and two of my Mother’s sisters and their husbands. My Mother was Sister Captain in the MGT. so when I was born at the end of the 50s my first religious experience was the “Lost Found Nation of Islam in the Wilderness of North America” , commonly called “Nation of Islam”. I later experienced the church as well. What I find interesting these days is that I hear so many, mainly Immigrant Muslims from overseas saying that Elijah Muhammad claimed to be a Prophet but all I ever heard Mr. Muhammad called was “The Messenger”. Wallahi, I Never Ever heard him referred to “The” nor “A” “Prophet”. I’m not saying that it didn’t happen. I am saying that I never heard the term “Prophet” in reference to Mr. Muhammad. I’m Not saying that he was the Messenger of ALLAH as Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) who received the revelation of the Qur’an, but as Imam Warith Deen Mohammed said once that his Father was the Messenger of Master Fard who the Nation of Islam taught was G’d in person. Something that I myself never accepted just as I never accepted Jesus Christ or any other man as G’d. But I have always had a special appreciation for that movement and those pioneers that paved the way for us who came alone later. They pointed us to the Qur’an and told us that our G’d’s name was ALLAH and that His Messenger’s name was Muhammad and that our way of life that we should follow is Islam. Forgive me I didn’t intend to write so much but I hope that I shared something if benefit. Btw, you can find the Bean pie in Houston. Again, As Salaam Alaikum!!

The most honorable Elijah Muhammad never claimed to be a prophet, he said that he was the messenger of Allah

    • @DarkPacmanC

All Messengers are Prophets by default, while all Prophets are not necessarily Messengers. Elijah Poole claimed Prophethood by virtue of claiming Messengership.

    • @hewittrossjr.8022

HE NOT NO MESSENGER OF ALLĀH NEITHER, BECAUSE MASTER FARD MUHAMMAD WASN'T ALLĀH IN THE PERSON. ALLĀH TELLS US IN THE QUR'AN NOT TO ASSOCIATE ANYTHING IN WORSHIP WITH HIM. SO WHO WAS ELIJAH MUHAMMAD MESSENGER TO IF FARD WASN'T ALLĀH?

  • @othellosson1621
    @othellosson1621 Před 3 měsíci +1

The Theology of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad was designed specifically to address both superiority mindset and inferiority mindset of white and black. The latest attack on DEI challenges his position on when people need a medical professional. 🤷🏿

No, Nation of Islam was not political and wasn’t too militant. But all the other groups got their militant attitudes from the NOI.

He started off totally incorrect! 🧐 He espoused the same fluff as many so others do. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad never claimed to be a prophet. This jargon needs to cease.

These are good Brothers. But many of his points were off an incorrect. Why not ask Minister Farrakhan or one of the ministers of the Nation to answer these questions? And they have grown to what? No farm land, no businesses, no discipline, etc etc…. APIDTA for the HEM and the HMLF!!
