The current economy is nothing compared to the Recession of the 1980s. It took a number of years but Canada bounced back once it got rid of the Conservative Government. Which by the way, we are still paying off their $1.1 Trillion Dollar debt.

Canada will be in 20-30 years a bit like India is today (economy wise and by majority origin of it's population from that region ). You heard it here in 2024!

Total BS, Canada is only attracting the blue collar talent using free healthcare and minimum wage.
Global setups that will prosper are the ones who can attract the most hungry and talented individuals - like NYC, Silicon Valley, Dubai, Bengaluru.
Canada will always be a service economy for the united states based on its capability to attract the best talents - primarily due to the high tax rates and small local economy.

COUNTRY WITH ONE OF HIGHEST TAXES......Last 3 years of immigration is based on Refugees and absolutely gutter rather than getting the creamy layer :), House taxes, good and services taxes, CO2 Taxes, everywhere taxes......No investors are coming , existing investors are already pulling out at a massive pace that the even to replenish what we have NOW would take 25 years....the DAMAGE is Extreme and most of the budding Talent and entrepreneurs are leaving or already left. Canada will become LAND OF REALORS....where there would not properties to sell or buy .....Medical infrastructure has already collapsed and most immigrants go to outside countries for treatments and most born in Canadian citizens are born with this mess and they would continue to suffer....Canadians retirement money would gambled by governments and thus putting oldage people into risk.....Climate change is going to be extreme for Canada with more forest fires in Summer and Extreme and Long winters leaving place with two extremes. Law & Order will be complete mess with extreme influx of Refugees and illegal migrations along with low quality tech/college migrations allowed. Left with Monopoly of 4 banks, 2-3 telecom and extreme levels in other areas as well, new players will NOT come in leaving people with very little to choose. This could very well become an open PRISON :)
