Sindhis make fakki (herbal mixture) for new born babies which helps them in case of stomach ache, indigestion, gas or vomit. They make two fakkis - Chaato and Dukko. The recipe is given below.
Also, Sindhis make post delivery fakki for new mothers. This is an excellent herbal mixture for post partum care that helps the mother in recovery. Video Link is given below.

RECIPE OF CHAATO FAKKI:
Ingredients:
Misri - 50 gm amzn.to/3U98HZ0
Pudine ki Tikki - 4 amzn.to/3DqWaub
(Strong peppermints or Polo mints)
Small Elaichi - 4 to 5 amzn.to/3qCYJ4J
Big Elaichi - 1 amzn.to/3DxWpDA
Procedure:
1. Break the Peppermints into small pieces.
2. Remove the skin of the Cardamoms (Elaichis)
3. Grind them well in a mixer.
4. Seive the mixture using a muslin cloth.

Ingredients:

Methi Dana - 3 tbsp
Saunf - 4 tbsp
Shahi Jeera - 2 tbsp
Ajwain - 1 tbsp
Vavring/Vidang - 2 tbsp

Procedure:
1. Roughly crush the following:
Big Elaichi, Peppermints
2. Wash and dry pudina leaves and crush them.
3. Grind all the ingredients.
4. Seive the mixture using a muslin cloth.

You can start after a week. Initially, give very very little, less than a pinch. Increase it gradually when the baby gets used to it.
