My 2011 Prado V6 has 340,000kms still smooth and quiet I change oil / filter every 5000kms

The last of the 1KD engines had Piezo injectors, which will not require replacement until over 200,000 km.

Steering shaft components are weak and fail causing steering play. Expensive parts to replace.

Prado is one big piece of junk, not much that not breaking on this so called reliable Toyota car. Stay far away it's not worth it unless brand new, should be ok for first 150 k km after that's it's just disaster waiting to happen.

I don't know... What you're saying is odd and maybe exaggerated, or maybe you got unlucky. These Land Cruiser Prados are known to be one of the most reliable vehicles ever made. The compaints usually regard infotainment, lack of features for the price... etc. But reliability issues? That's a first.

Corrosion is one thing that hate on this prado, my hilux is better than this land cruiser prado to resist corrossion
