@Alison Smith - Maybe Scott wasn't too happy that one of the cute Canadian Speed Skaters looked interested in getting close to Tessa while she was in the waiting area before the podium ceremony. It didn't take long for Scott to get by Tessa's side and stare at her while she talked to the guy - maybe to see if Tessa looked interested, too. Dunno. In any case, the Speed Skater guy stayed through the ceremony and through the medalists' skate around the rink for the audience and through all the final picture-taking, until Tessa and Scott left to greet Scott's brothers. Note: Speed Skater guy took pics, too, of any activity Tessa was in. Whether Tessa and Speedster eventually hooked up later, I have no clue, but if they did, maybe that's why Scott seemed a little stand-offish toward Tessa. Weird how Scott has no problem flirting around (even while supposedly dating Ms. Hilborn or Ms. Lawes at that time), but when it looks like someone's zeroing in on Tessa, he gets a little protective. I guess flirting around is something Scott's done from an early age. In an interview, he did say he enjoyed skating at the Ilderton rink because of all the pretty little girls. Tessa doesn't seem to be bothered by any of that.
