Went to a cooking class once, when we got to the safety briefing for the mixer, the instructor showed us this video as an example of what could happen if your not carful, it worked

From Canada Newfoundland here, we get alot of snow - snowblower machines are very popular. My husbands 70 year old deaf mute uncle lives an few houses down from us, who doesn't own an cell phone. One winter his snow blower stopped working mid use due to an clog of ice chunks and rocks - he reached his hand in to unclog it - while it was still on. Luckily he didn't lose any fingers, but his hand was badly mangled - it took ALOT of stitches and 2 years of going back and forth to physical therapy to restore his hand mobility 100%. Snow blowers usually come with an ⛏️ to unclog it.

And this, this is why its said that safety regulations, are written in blood. If something has a safety cover to prevent you from getting your bits in there, KEEP THEM IN PLACE. prosthetics aint cheap.

I feel peoples pain when I see the wounds or things like this it’s not pretty good me watching things and get so much pain I almost pass out from that pain
Again ive said this before how do people get stuck in these situations. Cant the writers think of something less of a stupid incident for example why not someone getting their fingers trapped in a door lol im sure everyone done that.
You’d be surprised. Big machinery like that can cause all sorts of accidents.
Accidents like this are way more common than people think. Working with any kind of machinery is dangerous work, be it a forklift or an industrial dough mixer. All it takes it one loose bit of clothing and you're caught.
These things happen often taking off safety guards or loose clothing can kill I got a power drill pulled into my chest in school because of a loose shirt u never think it'll happen to you untill it does
