I've been airbrushing for 7 years and yet I never fail to pick up a small tip I didn't think of from each of these videos - so good! Thank you! And thanks Tom for the translations :)
Little hint for you. When screwing the parts back together first twist the part backwards when you do that you will feel the male thread line up with the female thread. This will prevent cross threading. I'm a Mechanical Designer with 42 years experience so I can say this works.
Thanks for this video, I got my airbrush two months ago and still learning how to use, this one has added a few new tips to cleaning it going forward thanks and the English helps alot.
thanks for the great video! Just one thing, I thought that the whole point of the H&S airbrush is that you can easily remove the nozzle so that you can pull the needle from the front. Pulling the needle from the back pushes the residual paint into the body, removing it from the front avoids that, making deep cleaning easier.
Putting the air valve in the ultrasonic gets an epic YIKES from me. A fast track to blowing an air seal Liked the water/mug idea. Never heard anyone advocate dumping a whole load of cleaner into an ultrasonic unless you want to wear the finish off or can burn through cash (most branded cleaners are not cheap to burn through that extravagantly).
Well I just got my airbrush set up for the first time tonight! I am very grateful for your beginner series. I still need lots of practice but these were great videos for referencing!
Hi, thanks for the vid, very interesting - I'd heard that using the ultrasonic like that can damaged the o rings and surface of the brush - it's been nearly a year now, so how have you find it - is there anything to the ultrasonic being bad or is it fine?
Cleaning all the parts in the ultrasoninc cleaner is overkill. The parts that does not come into contact with paint, like the handle, airvalve, trigger, waiste, needle chuck and screw and basically everything from the trigger backwards, does not need this treatment. And you only need to do it when you have serious problems. Otherwise a sprayout and a wipe is all you need.
Hey Angel, thanks for the fantastic video as always! Absolutely love your channel. I'm curious, with the ultrasonic cleaner, would it be okay to leave the airbrush in it for a day or two and then assemble it prior to the next time you start painting?
how about cleaning while changing primers instead of ordinary paints (from black to white for example) or after varnishing and beginning to work on something else
When you are cleaning it at 3:40, can't you just pull back the trigger instead of pulling the needle back manually and get the same result? Great video's, love them
Thanks for videos. I think that you forgot one thing to mention. What about airbrush maintenance after cleaning, eg. when there are problems with smooth needle movement or a trigger? Do you use something like Iwata Lube, Badger Regdab or totally something different? Maybe there are other alternatives...
Where did you get the nozzle cleaner? The smallest one I can find is only good for 0.2mm and larger nozzle (harder steenbeck). There are some great tips here, thanks!

The long tool that you say is for tightening the golden part of the body is not for that, and will bend and snap if it is. Once the trigger is disassembled, the tool is inserted into the back of the main body and used to unscrew the internal seals so that they can be removed. There is another, shorter, thicker and stronger, tool, for tightening the golden part of the body. HTH.
This is great - muchos gracias! Can you tell us where to find the tool you used to clean the nozzle starting around 4:02, or at least what it is called?

Thanks a lot for the translated videos!!! Now I can concentrate on the things you do and not to read the subtitles 😅 Can you please tell me, where you get the cleaningneedle from? I've got 2 or 3 now and they're good for the 0,4 mm nozzle, but to big for the 0,15 mm nozzle.

if you paint miniatures, it's not necessary, many artists and illustrators use the airbrushes and they don't paint in spray booth, but if you paint cars, big models,etc.. and you use toxic paints, you must use a mask and in a spray booth :)
I live in the US and I have the infinity cr plus. What is the name of the tool that you use to clean out the nozzle? I would like to get one. Keep up the good work and please stay safe!
I ordered an Infinity 2 in 1 but it's not CR plus. Is it good enough or should I return it and order one that is CR plus? Dose it matter? I'm only going to use acrylics with it.
@@AngelGiraldeZ I now got the airbrush and I have tried it. It is a bit weird because I can't use the quick fix at all. I have to press the lever almost all the way back for any paint to come out. I'm thinning my paints of course and running my compressor at around 1.7 bars. Even at max settings at 6 on the quick fix no paint will come out. I'm I doing anything wrong?

300 sec = 5 min not 3 :) Anyway I once read that you should not put the air valve in the ultrasonic cleaner as you could get bobbles in it that could damage it. No idea how true this is, anyone who knows?
@@AngelGiraldeZ I don't know ))) Actually, I don't know how hard the nozzle tip is. Once I dropped it to the wood floor and saw 0-shape instead o-shape on the nozzle's tip ))) And I forced to need to buy new nozzle
Nozzle is not that delicate. Personally I go hardcore on the same Infinity airbrush Angel uses with a similar technique and I've damaged a single nozzle throughout last seven years and only because I used the cleaning tool too hard.
Bro, if you pull the needle out backwards you pull all the paint residue into your airbrush. Consider taking off the nozzle first, then pulling the needle out up front.

loved the video just wondering how many times can you use the cleaner fluid before you replace it with fresh fluid thanks in advance
Super helpful video, thank you!
Thanks for this video.
May I ask, how do you recover the liquid from the cleaner? Thanks in advance.
Great video, thanks Angel
can you use methylated spirits in an ultrasonic cleaner and not worry about damaging the airbrush internals parts/seals?

It’s part of the Harder & Steenbeck Airbrush Service Kit which in the UK costs around £25 - £30 (approximately $40).
Can you use normal dish soap water instead of the cleaner in the ultra sonic chamber?
good question, if you use dish soap water in the ultra sonic, you will get a lot lather 😅"lather party"

What is the advantage of moving the needle like that as opposed to just moving the trigger back and fourth to move the needle?
I think the tip of the needle comes out entirely from nozzle when you will move it with hand. If you are using trigger you can't making the same.
