I'm from Hungary and I'm discovering SNL just now. And Funkytown Debate is the best. Waking up in bad mood, I just turn on this debate and get funky for my day. Excellent rhytm, background vocals, dancers, and candidates... more Funkytown issues, pleeeeaaasssee!
If you like Funkytown, I definitely recommend checking out the SNL “What up with that” skits. They are hilarious, and I’m convinced the characters from them live in the same county as Funkytown. 😄

Yeah well, the actors everyone one of them were absolutely awesome, these were thee best years, best skits, they had Jay, Kristen Andy, Taran, Jason, Bill, Fred, Nassim, was nuts you simply couldn't keep it b together was too funny, the writers too were different, so....

Funk culture is probably the best subculture ever created and it desperately needs to make a return. 80s neon is cool and all but there's something pure about Funk that hits your soul!

Usher is actually doing a “Locking” move. A popular style of dance to funk that still exists.

This is precious. It's rather stunning for me when realizing that this aired nearly _nine_ years ago. I remember this episode for Will Ferrell supposedly having a cold at the time. What a trouper! Also, Broadway Sizzles from this outing is a real treat too for Mr. Ferrell's singing.
I'm from Memphis we had a guy named Prince Mongo who ran for mayor every election and was very similar as the Captain. He never wore shoes and claimed he was from outer space.
I learned more about a fictional place in a skit than I do about my own town where I live during real debates.
Can't believe that this is more believable than the actual debates...

It’s because Funkytown only rises from the mists every 500 years, and when it recedes, those who visit return to the outside world with no real recollection of its existence. Only with the advent of recording technology did we have any real proof of its existence.
